Hey Hesham! Can I ask you to personally have a word with Sony Boss about Android OS malfunctions on Z9D possibly being carried over to Z9F? (Crashing Apps & Sluggish) Also bringing down the gaming lag to 0.1 ms like Asus gaming monitors. Yawl could talk to them too!!!

Gonna cost two kidneys but the zf9 is definitely the best led TV and A9f is potentially the best oled if it can beat Panasonic's oleds

Viewing angle rarely is a problem but poor grey uniformity resulting in dirty screens and also the slow Android OS are issues with the ZD9 which need to be addressed with a successor.

It has, but the local dimming is really poor and the TV suffers from serious blooming and greyish blacks.

then my 46W905A stays here even longer, I will not throw away my 3D Blurays… and the ZD9 is also fine, but I wont renounce the better processor of ZF9 because of 3D from ZD9, so no new TV...

AW Sadly it isn’t, poor local dimming, blooming and greyish blacks ruin this TV as it has less dimming zones than the Sony Z9D or Samsung Q9FN.

I would love to upgrade from my XBR75Z9D, but the MediaTek Chip and the Android OS deliver such a terrible expereince on the Z9D, that I am conflicted upgrading to another device with the same set up. I would be on board without a second thought if you moved your TVs to an AMD SOC and used your own PlayStation OS and PlayStation Store as opposed to Android and Google Play. It is unfortunate that these great displays built on Sony tech are hamstrung by poor 3rd party hardware and software, when you have and ecosystem in place with your own OS and a much better chip maker in AMD.

I have the XBR75Z9D in the living room and a XBR-43X830C in the bedroom, and both TVs are constantly crashing, apps lock up, and even the most simple tasks have massive lag. I actually swapped out my X830 for a second unit from Best Buy, due to these issues, but they continued with the 2nd unit, and I decide to live with it. When I decided to upgrade the livingroom, I thought that things would be better with the Z9D, since it was a $10K TV. No beans, the Z9D is actually worse, and has more lag. I absolutely love the display. I browse Best Buy a few times a month, and I still like the image of the Z9D more than any competitors, but the Android OS and the MediaTek chip that runs it, are by far the worst combo of any manufacturer. Even previous HX950 Sony was much quick in changing apps, changing settings, and just moving around the OS. Sony has a much more stable and snappy OS on the PS4 that could be brought over, and offer a unified experience between their devices. I would have upgraded to the Z9F if it had their own OS, but I'm not spending more to continue to deal with these issues.

I understand, i have the xe900 and the android can be sluggish, but i never had that bad of a problem, only some lag, no crashing. But i have heard they updated the prosessor so that might help, but if it that bad i would recommend you buy a apple tv, chromcast ect. The PQ on the bravia is unrivaled, especially for LCD, you should also check out some videos on what apps you can delete on the tv, that helped me quite a bit with preformence. Cheers 🥂

The z9d is only better at deep blacks that's all the z9d is old an sluggish this tv is excellent. The 75" z9f gives any tv a problem

i'm going back to lcd, after my lg oled had a permanent burn-in.. i'm never buying oled again.. let's see what i'm missing out on these so called lcd brightness..

La paz Mundial Just know that Sony’s flagship professional displays for the film industry are OLED. No amount of brightness can rival the impact of true blacks and per-pixel illumination.

Westside Tech How do you know if he was using his OLED TV responsibly?....There is a small risk of burn in even if you do use your TV responsibly, Rtings proved this with their burn in test.

@@nickxcore74 when you buy an Oled TV for £2000+ you shouldn't have to use it "responsibly" it either work or it doesn't, if you have to be careful or you get image retention or burn in then those TV's are seriously overpriced 😊

Mas mejorar la guia de epg mas ,una conexion wifi y lan desde el menu del tv..y no tener que quitarlo del ruter ,mas extras que han quitado multi view pantalla pi-pa .en la series zd9 o a1oled ect...y mas inovacion en la guia con mpg4 como lg .y poner procesador igual a igual y los extras a todo modelo de marca media alta .aunque el procesador sea inferior a los de gama alta ,pero al menos mantener todo como hace lg...yo fui de sony añoosss ,,y tengo un zd9 que tuve problemas con los soportes tecnicos y tecnicos .y no me solucionaron nada .años y meses .y dias de correos y llamadas..y un panel me querian cambiar por que tan sencillo es que me dijeran que el ntfc lo formatearan a ntfc y lo registrara desde almacenamiento asi de facil.como un problema que me soluciono delegado y tecnico jubilado .los eventos de la guia no cargaban los de rtv española,y me lo soluciono en dos dias ,no los ingenieros ni soporte fue mi vendedor del corte ingles que trabajo poniendo pantallas en sony y el delagado amigo suyo.y el tecnico jubilado que se lo puso en conocimiento y me llamo le explique y me dio dias y a los 3 o dias ya me lo soluciono con una actualizacion de sofware, asi que por mucho que saquen procesadores mejorar mas otros problemas y extras que lg lleva ..y no que me tuvieron prometiendo cosas que nunca llego ni llegaria y a paso que veo .de estos nuevos seguira igual..solo el procesador .y asi pues ,si como me dijeron y no me creo nada,,o cambia sony o lg es mi nuevo tv..por eso es el lider...hacer vosotros lo mismo.,ser lo que antes fue sony y pelear competir en lo que lg saca y hace...eso es innovar..y yo que con mi seguro pude echar atras el tv .pero tengo claro si no me escuchan .despues de tantos años..lg es mi modelo del 2019 ,,si sony no cambia otras cosas del tv..guia mas moderna y acorde .ect.ect...y you tube que tambien tiene problema de sincronizacion cosa que yo arregle y no soy ingeniero..algunos se creen que saben y no saben ni la misa de la mitad...como el que entiende que es el fiel comprador de sony compra un tv con todo extras ..y ya es hora que sony innove en lo que lg saca ..completo ...

Z9D is far better then this one...this iss a shame to have only 105 dimming zones vs z9d who have 600+....why you doing this??? x900f is almost good as z9f...in dark room is even better,,,

Software still sucks. :/ unbelievable. Just don't get why even the cheapest Smartphones are able to load and work at a rate much much faster than a simple TV OS. Why don't they get it? I invested in a TV that needs to work for between 5 to 10 years. I had to choose Samsung because I could't stand the OS of Sony. It is slow and also not intuitiv. So Sony lost me there for the next few years.
