Okay okay... we're getting out of control now. First, Cervelo introduced a carbon hardtail earlier this year, and now a Full Suspension bike?! But is it any good?

I bought mine about a week ago. The GX mechanical 120/120, Five Black large. I also bought the One Up V3 dropper post, Wolf Tooth dropper remote all from the Miles Bike website and they are installing those upgrades on my bike now before they ship it. Thanks to the staff that worked with me on my split payments and my multiple requests for upgrades before shipping it to me. I can’t wait to receive it.

I love this beast. It’s even better than I imagined. It’s smooth, quiet and just glides around the tight corners on my local trails. I’ve even hit some very steep drops here in the Houston, TX area (yes we do have some steep drops believe it or not) and have had no problems. It’s very very playful , easy to jump, easy to manual and the 120mm front and rear travel is extremely plush. And the head tube angle is plenty slack enough for me. I wish it had the remote sus lockout but my model wasn’t spec’d with the compatible shock and fork. In order to do that I have to either change out the internals of the shock which costs around $500ish+ and completely replace the fork which is another $1,100 I think or replace the shock also. Replacing both comes out to around $2,000 according to my research if I’m remembering correctly. The brakes are surprisingly a lot stronger than I thought they would be and the SRAM GX mechanical groupset has been flaweless so far. I currently have only 227 miles on it. I would have had prob at least 400 miles by now if it wasn't for all these damn storms in the Houston TX area so far this year. Everything on this bike is way easier compared to my old entry level full sus Giant Stance 2 29er aluminum trail bike with 130mm front and 120mm rear. At one of my local hard trails, I would often get so exhausted after just mile 5 I would often almost completely pass out and would see stars and have to take a 5 minute break and drink a lot. Now, with my new bike, I can do the entire 15 miles easily without stopping. Another great thing I’ve noticed is this thing has insane acceleration and speed. My time has increased on all trails by a full 2 minutes faster on most of them. I rides lot of different routes. I am extremely happy with my purchase and hopefully I can get one for my 18 year old son soon if they aren’t all sold out by then.

ETT for a large is 617mm, kinda short. I'm not sure if I want a L or XL. I usually like 630mm ETT for pedaling.

Yes the 100mm does but not the 120mm sadly. It requires expensive upgrades or replacement with compatible SID components. In order to do that you have to either change out the internals of the shock which costs around $500ish+ and completely replace the fork which is another $1,100 I think or replace the shock also. Replacing both comes out to around $2,000 according to my research if I’m remembering correctly. I researched this around 2 months ago and even spoke with someone at either Cervelo or Mikes Bikes, can’t remember which now darn it and this is what they told me.
