Thanks for sharing this E9! I spent most of my childhood in the back seat. Dad bought it used when it was a few years old, he always praised it over the other BMW's he bought. I have lots of memories on this car, all the time thinking how it was like behind the wheel, mom always complained about the heavy clutch.

Golf Yellow is such a special color. I'm more of an E24 guy and I know it was offered the first year or two of production but I'd love to see a later E24 in this color. I also came very close to buying an early Golf Yellow E21. Someone is going to be very happy with this E9 if they like to get attention everywhere they go as you said.

I had a 3.0 CSL many years ago but can't really remember what itv drove like. I do recall that the E3 3.0Si saloon was a better drive. They and the E12 528i's were really special.

At 11:50, you say this is a Clamshell hood...Incorrect..... A clamshell hood incorporates part of or the entire fender ( XKE Jag or BMW e12....)
