I like this light and design. With two small flaws. It should be able to rotate 90 degrees. Would have definitely looked better in your friend’s installation. And I would want this in all white housing to match my house trim and all of the existing hardware on the outside of my house. If those two things were there, I would pull the trigger and grab two of these! I have two of the Geeni light bulbs in my current lights that do some of the same things these lights do. But not nearly as many. The app seems to be really well designed.

John did a pretty good job, but you can install it horizontally knowing that the camera might not align as to where you want it. So try it first to see, then go through the process of installing it vertically the way you’re instructed.

Please tell "John" to turn the ENTIRE unit on it's side, in his garage.🙏

I got this Cam Light (3 of them) not knowing that I needed to have 2.4Ghz wifi. Unfortunately, I have 5Ghz and it won't connect. I thought, well, at least I'll have the Dusk til Dawn lighting since the internet is only for the camera activity---but they won't turn on at all. If I installed them myself I would question the wiring, however, I called in an electrician to do the installment. I'm very sad that I have to return these. Before I pack them up, do you have any suggestions on how else to troubleshoot the lighting portion?

I spent two frustrating days trying to connect this to my network. After figuring out that you have to set your network name and password to simple names, no special characters or spaces, it finally worked. After hookup the software updated and I installed it, however after changing my network name and password to a more secure one it dropped connection again. Then it wanted me to start all over gain in pairing mode. I have other Eufy products and have never had these kinds of problems.
