My first MTB was a 1987 GT Avalanche Elite. I was 19 and bought it brand new in the summer of '87 and had to finance the entire $680 at 10% interest! It was worth every penny I spent. I recently donated it to a good home complete with a Rockshox Judy with a Risse Gem Cartridge and Ti springs and a Race Face crank. I will always have a soft spot in my heart for GT and I am so stoked they are making a resurgence..... I just may own one again very soon.

Well done video. Sensor looks great I love gt's new minimalist design. Clean decals and strong lines.

Agreed! In a world of every company trying to make bikes that do everything and have every gadget... this is actually a pretty compelling idea - "Just make a good bike" hahaha

It's back yeah, but in a small way, I don't like the new old logo but apart from that it looks nice, just too bad GT isn't the technological powerhouse it was. I really enjoyed staring at and riding my GT BMX, hardtails but most fun of them all idrive bikes, they had something going on before the dark days, idrive would still be relevant today. Wonder if PON even holds than patent everything from the 780 plus employees giant GT was disappeared and was erased from the surface of this earth...
