We try our FIRST NATIONAL FOREST free camping experience! It was a NARROW, SINGLE LANE DIRT ROAD for our 30FT travel trailer but we made it! Most of our USA RV travel has been all prebooked State Parks but we decided we wanted to try National Forest camping once and it was SO beautiful! We will certainly be adding some National Forest Camping to our RV trips in the future!
But to get out to Lolo National Forest first we had to RV through Montana some more. We had an interesting pit stop using the Sani dump and a truck stop after being slightly blocked in but made it work! This 100 days of RV living in the USA has allowed us to see so many new places and make so many memories during our family travel and we are so glad we've gotten to experience this. It's amazing how everywhere you head it still is something new every time. Even with 4 years of on off full time RV living during the warm months we continue to find and enjoy new RV camping sites and keep taking in so many new areas we would never have seen if it weren't for RVing. Hopefully today's RV vlog and RV life adventures has provided a little enjoyment and inspiration for you all as well!
Until the next RV travel video friends!

LUKE I'm a retired trucker and you are getting to be a pro at handling that rig , including having the instinct to get out and check ahead before you get yourself "snookered".

Thanks Brian! It's coming along, definitely glad we didn't let not wanting to buy and learn towing a trailer stop us from all the adventures we've made with it! 🍁

Glad to see you getting closer to home and that boondocking was part of your adventures! Just got back from an incredible trip to the Canadian Rockies and drove the Icefield Parkway, camped in Banff, Jasper & Yoyo NP's and had our best camping trip ever with our 17.5 year old dog Jasper.! Even stayed in one of your recommended sites in Tunnel Mtn. 2! Thanks for your videos a couple years ago and for the recent tip to check out the pull-outs. Very grateful!

Nice! That's such a good trip. We haven't stayed anywhere at Yoho before and aren't even getting out that way this year sadly though. Happy to hear you got to enjoy it at least 😄🍁

Glad you were there before the forest fires started popping up. We were going to go to Mount Rainer National Park, but the smoke was terrible. We headed southeast and are now enjoying clear skies and fresh air in Utah.

Thank goodness! Back in BC we've had so many bad fire/smoke years it's been a relief escaping most of it. Certainly cant be good breathing in that thick smoke for a prolonged time year after year. Hope Utah is treating you well down there. Feels like just yesterday we were out that way and yet I already miss it all and want to go back haha. Just something so different down there, especially compared to our normal surroundings. Safe travels guys! 🍁

Wonderful and great adventure. Pro tip: Drop you trailer at the first spot that first, take cones with you and find the spot you like, place cones, go get trailer not bars are needed. BTW: I learned the really hard way to drop before searching. Trust me after well over 50 trips, I felt confident, then the day came. Safe travels and love the adventures.

Hi guys. Have you considered using Harvest Hosts for these overnight stops? We’ve been using them for overnight/in-transit stops this year and we’ve had great experiences.

We had signed up for them our first year RVing prior to our border denial and then never ended up getting to try it out! Canada didn't have many options back in 2019 for our across Canada season but it looks like we should give them another try again sometime for sure!

Why don’t you use Google maps satellite view of your location, instead of risking it by going down unknown dirt roads on which you might not be able to turn around?
