Bold move! I did think that ice was going to pop apart with the motor wash on LR....didn't seem that thick! These temps, the rain, and wind are really going to rip apart a lot of big water ice the next couple of days!

It'll be go time down there. Just saw on FB that LR looks like it is open today. Missed it by a day!

West lake is one of my go to lakes for crappie. Always catch there

SOLID option but i don't fish it much honestly. maybe i need to try it more often.

@@fisherthorson3811 there is also a small lake there in Osceola called east lake,it has a good crappie bite as well.

@@fisherthorson3811 yes it is much smaller,it does have a boat ramp,but it’s very bank fisherman friendly,but there’s some good sized crappie in there

I picked up “slurping it” and “snagglepuss”. I’ll be integrating those two terms into my 2023 fishing vocabulary.
