That’s pretty soon for a Retwist. Ideally it’s every 4-6 weeks but as a starter the less you mess with it the faster it locs.

you could try to fix it yourself or have whoever does your hair fix it. unraveling in the early stages in normal since the hair isn’t fully locked

I’m 3 months locked and just did my retwist for the first time on Saturday. Turned out way better than I thought and now that I know how to do it on my own I get to save my money on a loctician lol

Ok you did a helluva job from beginning your twist and maintenance 👍🏾….if I do 2-strand I can twist new growth and palm roll the rest to end so they don’t be puff right?🤔..

I'm 8 months into my process! I'm about to start self maintaining my loss, so im looking for a good retest gel. Where did you get yours from? Is there a link? I dont like the loc n twists one. it leaves my hair feeling super stiff

So I’m trying to start my sons and he has two strand twist in for about 6 weeks. So you only twist the roots and not the actual two strand twist? You just let that continue to grow down? I’m scared 😂😂😂 I can two strand twist just scared of the lock part! Yours super cute 🥰
