Peppermint, rosemary, or tea tree oils mixed with olive or jojoba oil works great for dandruff.

Love this video! We do our retwist the exact same. 5 months in w/two strand starters. I really don't use a comb for parting to much. Mainly use the comb towards the front.

Head and shoulders also has a Royal Oils series,I've used it on my natural hair for years! I used to get bad dry scalp too!

You would be better using an aloe/water/essential oil mix as a leave in spray. The aloe is very good for the scalp. It’ll clear those issues right up with the scalp.

I actually want to lock my hair up, but I don’t wanna do it in two strand twist. I want to do it and coil twist the dreads that I want to get I’m looking to go more on the feminine side more than like a rough neck side. And just to be clear yours is on the feminine side I just want coil twist.

Suggestion for dry scalp: increase your water intake and start eliminating processed foods✌🏾 how long do you keep the clips in after re-twist?

Try making your own rosemary oil. I buy two organic bunches and add them to a pot with your favorite carrier oil such as avocado, olive oil, grapeseed, etc..allow it to simmer on low for 10min then remove from heat and let sit an additional 25min-overnight. Up to you. But this is my favorite oil to make. You can also add in tea tree, lavender or peppermint oil to it.

I add 2cups of the carrier oil to the rosemary leaves.

I actually didn’t use gel when I first put in the twist, I used Nairobi foam.

Just started my journey. How long do you keep the clips in when twisting and how often did you wet your hair when you started?

You keep the clips in until your hair is dry or mostly dry. And I wet my hair at least once a day but it doesn’t have to be much.. I would just dampen it to refresh it after sleeping on it.
