It's one of the best bikes out there. I had a fz07 and went to a fz09 and there is a ton I miss about my 07.

I just bought mine a month ago, I have only ridden a crf 250 rally and the mt07, the mt07 is not comfortable at all just some advice, but I love it lol

Mt09 is a much better bike. The mt07 is a great bike minus the cheap suspension. I reccomend you guys upgrade your forks or look into dave moss tuning he shows you how to have fork issue resolved by shortening up spacers inside the forks! Great video!

I loved the stunted fz I rode the engines are amazing. I’ve been a 636 guy for over a decade and just bought an r7 to build. Wanted full fairings and I like the front forks better. The engines in these things are such a nice change from all the inline fours

In the video, Justin said his stunt cage and sub cage were made by Impaktech (Impaktechusa.com). I've heard several people say Impaktech cages are the most solid units on the market. They make them in Riverside, California. I have no affiliation with Impaktech but I do have an FZ-07, am a budding stunt rider and have been looking at cages for a few months. And I'm glad I came across your video!

Is that a stunt cage manufacturer? @ShakeNBlake: It appears you are a legit KZfaq influencer! - I ended up ordering a cage and subcage from Impaktech last week, largely as a result of seeing it in your video. According to the owner of the company, they make every cage to order, so the wait is generally always 6-8 weeks. But I lucked out because another buyer had recently canceled an order for almost the exact same configuration I needed, so Impaktech were able to ship to me instantly. I had to make a minor compromise in terms of color but that seemed like a small sacrifice to make in exchange for reducing the wait time by 7 weeks. Anyhow, thanks for giving me a chance to see their products in action on an FZ-07.

Ik this is over a year late but with knee knockers I found the easiest way to turn to the left is to float just past bp, straighten your right leg and snug your knee on the tank. Then you want to try and shift your body weight to the left a little, sometimes for drastic turns I’ll use my left knee to pivot the back tire. It’ll be the opposite direction you want to turn so pivot right lean left to turn left. For anyone who is still trying to figure that part out it took me a few months

You need to come ride mine. Mine is a fully stunted fz07 saggy tail fix 16 60 gearing full stunt cage front and rear handbrake bars and much much more. If you are ever near Southern Indiana I will gladly let you ride mine.

It's growing on me, I think I'd prefer the 09, but I had the (old version) 03 and that was the most fun I've had on 2 wheels, so I might well love the 07

I went 1 down 2 up in the back and its good enough. Still hit 125 very easy, and more mid-range power for sure. Power wheelie in 3rd gear now!!

Great video. I've got a 2009 kawi ER6N. You think it would make sense to upgrade to an FZ-07? Not sure if the handling/performance would be that much better that it would make sense to get a new bike. My Kawi is fully paid off haha

Hell I also have a ninja 650r 2009 and keep the ninja! Much better made bike. U can wheelie 2and gear so why switch? Maybe get an fz09 if anything

Just use lower gears on your bike. I saw that the stunter's bike topped out on 6th gear way too early, not to mention if you wanted to do some steady highway mileage. You should do the front forks! Actually the whle chassis seems a bit wild and wobbly even if you removed some preload and changed thicker oil at the forks.

It's almost a 25% increase torque at the wheels, so 50lbft will feel like ~62lbft now - very similar to an mt09. Obviously at the detriment of a 99mph top speed (or whatever it tops out at).

Sebastien Dumond-Ruffel it's heat wrap, keeps the exhaust heat in and prevents it from burning yourself or things that are close to it

Someone ran over and crushed my fz07 in the parking lot 3 days ago. I can't have anything nice. After it gets totalled, I'll be on my 5th bike :( My choices are to buy an fz09 or an fz07 in full, or pay half of a Duke 790 and finance the rest. Thoughts?

Xsr 900. Basically a fz09 +17 but cheaper insurance. You can find them for 6k.
