First Ride On The Project Bike! | IMS Tank Install | 1994 Honda XR650L

The long awaited first ride! After installing the IMS tank (which still needs work) I got the bike started and rode around for a bit. I’m happy with the performance and motivated to get the suspension done, new tires and get this thing looking better!

God damn, the tank rubbing on the fin... Jesus that's a recipe for disaster. Good to see it running. Still much work to do, meaning still many videos to come! 👍

From my experiences that CDI will leave you stranded. Better replace it soon and carry an extra one . great video

I’ve always heard tank graphics on a plastic tank will bubble up from gas fumes. Unless, they are making them better now adays

@@jables2845 I’ve had that experience and these are bubbling as well. Might just go all white plastic and keep it simple
