We finally take the Mad Van out for its first run!
Using a Zeee 5200mah, 50c, 2s pack!
It was plenty quick….but did it survive? Keep watching to find out!

Hello Jeremy, that's a sweet looking Mad Van, zippy and tough, seemed to good on the jumps, that is going to be a good one to see on the track this summer. I hope it's nothing major wrong with the Mad Van. Great run, take care and stay safe.

The Kyosho MadVan reminds of the GMC truck used in the famous ‘A’ Team series, just expecting BA to jump out 😂😊😂😊

the rage was an awesome car. I have the brushless version of that. Kyosho has some super cool stuff, but it isn't very basher friendly. The Mad Force Kruiser is the coolest solid axle MT ever, but durability was a major issue. That thing rips on 2s. absolutely no reason to even try 3s. Great run Jeremy

I’ve never broken teeth off a ring gear before!😂 Kyosho didn’t have any in stock so they sent a new differential. All patched up and ready to go; I loosened the slipper a touch. I agree, 2s is just fine for this one! I see the Rage is available for pre-order…it doesn’t seem any different from the one I had. Thanks Charlie!👊😊✌️

Very nice 😎 These are so much better looking than the brushed version . Never had a diff go on mine but have heard of a few it’s happened too, if it is a diff 🤓 Quality video though mate 👍🏁

ahhhh stripped diff . i believe they are known for it . blasted shame though . it’s such a beautiful looking car. i had the brushed and that had issues to .

I can’t help but wonder if it’s too much motor for this chassis?🤷🏻‍♂️ I had the Rage a few years back with never an issue. Oh well; once repaired, I’ll loosen the slipper a touch…and maybe not jump it so much!😂 Thanks and have a great day my friend! 👊😊✌️

@@HaydadRC Wow! aren't yours the steel ones? Maybe adjust the slipper a little more loose? I think mine are plastic but I never broke my gears yet...O boy I just did not do myself in now did I.....here comes the bad luck again! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Thanks Addam! These things happen….but man my luck lately!😂 I was surprised to find the ring gear on the rear diff snapped a couple of teeth. I reached out to Kyosho to see if they’d be willing to replace it before I order one. I appreciate you stopping by my friend, have a great upcoming week!👊😊✌️

Spurs are a weak point in these. They don’t like jumping too much.

@@HaydadRC wow, wouldn’t have suspected that. We’ve broken 2 spurs on our brushed version from hard landing and chassis flexing.
