Interesting it busted the metal gear in there. I may have to check the slipper on mine as well! Hopefully the string of busted stuff is done for you for a while and but it does seem to pile up at times! Take care and have a great week!

They do the 3mil screw for the wheels because this chassis is the fazer chassis and normally has car wheels on it

It could have just been a bad casting but with the bigger tires it might be a good idea to back off the slipper a bit.

I haven't seen that too often but I have seen it a lot with my Losi Mini LST (2007), however, that was my fault, I ran a 9,000kv brushless motor on 2S. Thats an easy fix but a lot of wrenching to get to the diff, I hope Kyosho will do something for you... Strange wheel hexes too!!!!!

WOW that may have been a faulty gear? Hope they give you the shaft bevel gear also it would be best to replace them both... Man bad luck you sure got that right!

I have a brushed kyosho mad van and several youtubers have complained about the brushless version (is it possible that a factor in breaking the differential teeth could be the little grease that kyosho puts in their cars?) as many people complain about the differentials of this truck, a pair of internal gears are sold to reinforce the differential, it is recommended to grease the truck well before running it, greetings

Wow, never seen that from a Kyosho especially from the Mad Van. At least it's not that expensive, you will have it back up and running soon. So how do you like the Typhon Grom? Take care and best wishes to you and the family.

We’ll bust my balls! It is broken ! Easy fix, but shouldn’t of happened! Kyosho should definitely send you a new one. Especially only running only 2s so far! I scrubbed out a rear diff also this year in my JEGs Hooligan truck. One jump ended my fun!😭. Well, good luck with Kyosho. I’d buy a spare just in case it keeps happening!😝✌🏼🫰
