Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation (PSPC) recently launched its first electric vehicle charging station -known as Shell Recharge - in the country as well as its Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) carbon offset service for drivers.
The oil giant said that the first Shell Recharge is at Mamplasan in Biñan, Laguna and will gradually roll out to more Mobility stations within the next 12 months. The aforementioned facility - located along the expressway - comes with two EV charging points with CCS2 connectors that can charge two vehicles simultaneously.
According to PSPC, each station can recharge an average EV to optimal battery levels in just 30 minutes (depending on the vehicle type and its corresponding battery management system).
