The sound design is just out of this world. Like the fact Scylla's singing becomes muffled when she hides in her shell and as each of her sirens die their associated singing and instrument stops until it's only Scylla singing. INCREDIBLE attention to detail and I would expect nothing less from Supergiant!

@@bonnerin0 "Skoola", but don't let google translate fool you since the word for "Dog" in Greek is "σκύλος"; moreover, in that case, the accentuated upsilon is modified a bit so if you were to type out Scylla in "to alfavito": it would treat the pronunciation the same.

nooooo they did all the mythology so well but now they did fish siren 😭😭😭 greek sirens were bird women (still awesome song and boss fight, i'm just too nerd for this stuff)

@@gregoireallasio7148 Theyre both bird-like. To be fair the sirens in the odyssey were without a description and up to interpretation, but yeah, greek sirens have bird legs and wings.

@@gregoireallasio7148 harpies are bird women too, but they are the spirits of strong winds, sirens are birds with the head of a woman but are considered more creature than spirit
