Great video! Fun trip! I'm seriously considering buying the Adirondack. I have a Northstar B16, but even though it is similar weight (40 pounds) I can't handle getting it on the car myself because of the length. I think a 12' canoe would be manageable.

12’ is a decent length, fairly manageable to throw on top of my car but sometimes wish I’d have more room in the boat for gear. The 14’ echo from esquif might be something to look into.

Great video! I have the same canoe but never used a double blade paddle with it. What length of paddle did you use ?

I’m wondering the same. I just bought the same canoe, but in blue. They recommend a 240-260 dbl paddle length. It’s basically personal preference. I’m 6 foot tall & thinking I’ll try a 250, idk 🤷♂️

I’m using a 250 cm paddle which feels pretty comfortable for me!

Never tried standing up in the boat on the water but the right paddler might be able to stand in it
