All these videos do well with showing the "blows" but don't show what the actual method is to holding the handpiece, position of the comb relative to the sheep, etc. and making the initial "cut".

nobody in these videos talks about how the shear should contact the sheep. flat? a slight tilt? a high tilt? it's hard to see how the comb contacts the sheep.

First time used electric, blades upside down . First blow on my founding ewe took skin off. Used scissors and handshear 20 yeărs.

I don't understand when he's talking about adjusting the lead of the shears. He says 5 to 7 mils? What is that in inches?

1 inch = 2,54 centimeters so 5 millimeters is about 0,2 inches
