I honestly don’t mind the trunk scarring. You see plenty of that in nature. Nice haul!

doing both ways, i couldn't agree more. Some of the scarring with this way can be nasty, but for the amateur or hobbiest it is definitely the quickest way to go. But you can save like 20 years so...developing stock from seedlings and slip potting also effective and gives it a perfect look, but question is can ya wait the few decades lol. Doing both gives you quicker results, and will give you more patience to wait for the others to develop. ALTHOUGH THAT DOES NOT MEAN YOU PUT A TWIG IN A BONSAI POT AND CALL IT A BONSAI PEOPLE.!!!! lol

Thanks Blue's Bonsai. Being 25 myself, I am relatively new to bonsai too, but hopefully in 3/4 years will be able to have a little bit more development and in 5-10 years will be starting to look good :)

Probably not baby lemons however over time/with correct pruning it will get some decent ramification and the leaves will become smaller and smaller giving it the look of a mature tree in a small pot.

I'll give an update soon, not much has happened in the last month since its been potted as it is only early spring. It's doing well. just some buds occurring. will give an update when more progess has been made.
