This pup is the first swimmer we've seen this season!! Go Pup!

Breaking away the ice, because it's so cold there that the breathing hole will freeze shut. And without that hole to breathe, they'll risk drowning.

NOW THAT IS A TOUGH LIFE. Keeping that hole open with her teeth. Hole freezes up and no more food. Respect to seals!
