Brian, I watch a lot of hunting related videos and you have the best made ones. You do a fantastic job with the story telling, adding new ways to 'spice' up the narrative leading up to the climax of the story and the scenery you video is AWESOME!! Thank you for these and your Podcasts.

As a big mtn/extreme skier and speedrider, I know the feeling you had up there very well. Nobody can understand the heaviness of the situation until they're in it. One slip and you go for the worst ride to your death. It's difficult to capture steepness on video, but you did it well! Your production is off the charts quality!

Nice one guys. Great to see foreign hunters putting in the hard yards and respecting our hills and game. Awesome showcase of a fairly standard day on the hill for us! Listened to your podcast today while driving around, interesting to hear your post hunt perspective on hunting here and what we have on our backdoor. We’re off up the road for a tahr hunt this weekend. When we were younger without families we’d be in those mountains nearly every weekend chasing chamois and bull tahr, now life’s a little busier. Cheers for sharing your hunt, looking forward to the next episode. PS, next time take ice axes & crampons for the retrieve 👍

Such an amazing hunt but kinda scary to watch. I had to watch in short pieces. Makes me remember hunting lions I on mules in really steep country I remember looking ahead and being terrified. Excellent video and story. Way to go, Ryan, on that Thar. Take what you can when you can, especially under such grueling conditions. I know the thought when you, Brian, said, way up that mountain/slope/cliff, “Dang it, I don’t like this, but I like it.” Enjoy that big stress, both physical and emotional, while you can. You are about 20 years younger than I and I am trying to practice what you preach about diet, conditioning, and pushing hard. I do it because I think taking care of my body gives glory to God -- the one and only true one, Father/Son/Holy Spirit --- and it helps me really enjoy being out in His creation and hunting. Try as we may, however, things change from 45 to 55 to 65. Keep on truckin' and letting us in on your hunts, 'til you are 75 or 85, God willing.

I have to say. Brian you have came such a long way man. Gives me hope for my future! 😂 (a smidge) Seriously though, The did you know Snapple Facts in the corner are perfect. It’s not shot in some meadow later with a fake interview. Everything is authentic and I hope to see this get on amazon like the hunting public someday! Also, I live on the east coast and a pack company suggested 26” frame. The pack gets snagged on everything as I’m trying to fish a couple miles of stream or if I’m trying to quietly get into my stand. Would a 24” frame be better for Pennsylvania? 2” makes a difference I’m told! 🎤💧🤘🏹👊💯
@GrittyGearAndPodcast

Thanks bud! We're working on getting this season's vids published to Amazon. I appreciate the support and the kind words. I have a long torso and I like a tall frame. In fact, I need a tall frame in order to get the ideal angle for me load lifters when I'm carrying a heavy load. But I prefer not to use my load lifters for light loads--I like the pack to ride on my shoulders instead of my hips when the load is lightweight. And I prefer the pack to ride lower when I'm crawling through brush and ducking branches. So ya, you might consider trying a 24" frame. It really depends on your size AND the purpose/use of your pack. I hope that helps. Thanks again for watching!

Every single series just keeps getting better guys, this is an incredible hunt that I’ve dreamed of doing for several years now, and you guys have me convinced I can make it happen! I’m curious, however, did you stick with 200 grain ELD-X on this hunt or did you shoot a different bullet? I didn’t see any little info blip on bullet selection so I’m curious. Keep up the good work fellas.

I'm telling you right now, you guys are the best hunting team on the web right now. Everything you recommend I buy or I think about buying :) Anyways, keep the hunts coming and don't change a thing. I know you guys are big 300 Win Mag guys and so am I. However, curious to see how the 6.5 PRC does in the field.
