Nova is ahead of the time now. remember jay wright always played small ball pace and space shooting with his old teams lead by guys like kyle lowry Alan Ray foye Scottie Reynolds etc. they are boom or bust every year. last year they were a #1 and got clowned by Wisconsin in round 2.

Ivanka2024 for POTUS Bill Self has won plenty of big games during his time, and if you honestly think that that game was his fault ur delusional. Just look at the Duke game, his team had way less talent and matched up horribly but he out coached Coach K and his team won a BIG GAME. Self took his worst team on paper in a while and led them to a final four put some respect on his name

you're dumb bro, mike dantoni has been running this offense since over a decade ago, its nothing new. he also has never won anything with it. Steph won rings doing it, he inspired a generation. If you want to bring up this year though, the rockets do make the most 3s per game, but the warriors still shoot the highest percentage in the league.

Oh boy Jay.... I don't have a photographic memory, but I watched the whole game and I know Spellman didn't hit "the first four 3's for Villanova" not even close lol. Eric Paschall hit the first 3, Mikal Bridges hit the second 3, and at no point did Spellman hit 4 in a row anyway. Jay Williams had a 12 hours to come up with an opening stat and that's the one you bring up multiple times?

Nate Kenny lol I was actually about to mention that. Saw the game again this afternoom and Eric hit the first, then bridges...Spellman didn't hit one 'til a little later. So, I don't know where Jay was getting his info from. Maybe he's mixing up games. Maybe Spellman hit 4 in a row against WVU or TT?

Talk about not keeping that same energy...Villanova is loaded now, but all season they were beatable...the Golden State of college basketball...wow...where was all this before the tournament...Duke, Arizona, Kansas, Michigan St, Kentucky etc were sexier...but cool #NovaNation...Jahvon Quinerly get ready to dazzle...hopefully they can keep Jay Wright and keep getting these best of both world recruits that stick around for multiple years and still also get considered as NBA prospects. I hope Villanova doesn't get 3 happy and change it up and attack the paint heavily the first half and the 2nd half pull out the 3pt barrage just to show people it is not a game...

King In My Own Mind "but all season they were beatable" - they lost 4 games all year and that was because of injuries, so them being beatable all year obviously ain't true. The last month they won every game by double digits. They obviously greatly improved on defense.

The sheer disrespect to Michigan and Loyola-Chicago defense is blasphemous. Both team defense are far better than Kansas. I would have rather seen Loyola played Nova than Kansas. Kansas looked like a 3 year old chasing after a ball for the first time rolling down a drive. Unfortunately for Kansas, there was no one there to save them. Loyola close out defense was great. Nova chance is Brunson having a huge game blowing pass defenders getting layups. If they play any other way besides that, they will have a tough time against Michigan especially if Michigan is making shots.

Its a bunch of top level coaches thst are sheer trash and only do it because someone gave them a chance. Some of you idiots think because you can see them on tv the are elite. So, you call them folks who you can't see a couch coach. That's pure ignorance when you don't even know folks backgrounds. That's typical ignorant internet activity. As fan of college basketball I am picking the underdog, never liked prep schools they get a separate set of rules. that rich private school in a little section of PA. I really don't think many Pennsylvania's like them that's not trend. The ones I now don't.

Yea, because the NCAA made a horrible ruling and didn't let Omari Spellman play his freshman year. If we were duke that would have never happened. Because of this they didnt have a big man at all, and still only lost twice in the regular season playing teams like Purdue, Virginia and Xavier and Butler. Had Omari been eligible, were probably 3 time straight national champions.
