Thanks so much for the review, just ordered these and cant wait to try them out. A bit jealous that you can alternate drag stop, I'm still learning that. Not too many reviews for these around so helps a lot.

Awesome! I am glad that you can benefit from this video! 😉 p.s. the alternating drag stop really does help with even wear on my wheels...

I don't think big wheels last longer they just have bigger cores. They are however a lot more expensive I have an rb110 but bought these for my collection. First 125mm skate for me
@Daeva83B2 жыл бұрын
aahh, come on! you got me all hyped about the big city! haha I bought my first pair of skates just a few days ago, 125mm :D They say it's not for beginners and i absolutely agree! But i dont think i'd be skating any better if i bought the smaller sizes. Besides knowing myself, i tend to chase the dragon, so i decided this time to go for the big boys in one shot. Zero regrets! I love them, they are smooth and you won't find me in any skatepark anyway, i am out there, just cruising around and exploring, and if i can, i will do a trick/jump here or there. But at the moment, i can't even brake, hehehe. I do this on my longboard actually, but even with my 80mm wheels and a bracket board, the roads are sometimes still to tough for my fancy board. And then by chance, i saw a video, inline skates, 125mm wheels and those guys are just flying through the city, jumps here and there, even performing those fancy dance moves on those big wheels.. I was sold... i truly had no idea that bigger wheeled inline skates actually existed.. i was living beneath a rock i suppose.. Anyway, can't wait to be better and just skate wherever the wind takes me. For now, i really need to have more control and be more comfortable on them. One of the reasons why i always prefered skateboards, i could always jump off and have my own feet back. Now it's just... i am screwed, whenever i lose control, haha.. ;)

Man...inline skating around downtown Nashville is a nightmare, which is probably why I never see people do it. Plenty of long downhills, obstacles and bad pavement combined with narrow spaces and lots of people and traffic. Good luck with that, haha. You definitely need good T-dragging abilities as there's not much else you can do without a heel brake. If you make it to Centennial Park, it should be pretty smooth sailing over there.

Well, I love your video : excellent video, just made me visit places around Nashville as if I was skating with you!!! 😀 Great!!!! But, a question about the maxxum edge, are they breathable? Just 6 little holes at the top of the shoes? Is it enough? And are they wide? I am looking for wide skates (10 cm at the widest part of the feet). Sorry, final question : is it a 11.6" frame? Thanks a lot😀👍

Good video dude, but how did the boots feel once you skated in them for a while? Blisters? Ankle outer bone pain? Lastly, what socks or padding do you wear with your boots? I have been seeing reviews for these skates talking about problems with ankle pain due to poorly designed liners.

@@YurkerYT I just got mine last week... How has your experience been so far?
@YurkerYT4 жыл бұрын
@@Seoulfury they kinda hurt parts of my feet. But not anymore, it's like with a new pair of shoes, you have to wear them for a little while before your foot adapts. The skating experience itself is amazing. It's harder to gain speed than in a 4x80 set up but you get a better maximum speed. Also road imperfection are way less noticeable than in smaller wheel sizes.
@Seoulfury4 жыл бұрын
@@YurkerYT same thing here... I have some inside ankle pain, but hoping it breaks in with some more time. I'm coming from mostly inline hockey, so it's been a transition to the big wheels and longer frame. But I've always wanted more speed and they are great for that, but the acceleration just takes some time and energy. Lol
@snejanaliapi64784 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the interesting video! Please advise a beginner. What to do when the asphalt is very rough and there are small stones that stop the skates? Should the speed be increased or should the beginner slowly cross this stretch? No problems on normal asphalt. Thank you!
@YurkerYT4 жыл бұрын
Practice passing over them, put one foot ahead of the other and lean slightly so most of your weight is shifted towards the rear skate. That technique makes the stones fly away on contact with the wheels. Practice it first at the equivalent of a jog pace and increase speed as you gain confidence.

Amazing men... Is it 125mm maxxum ryt... and is This rollerblade heavier than your previous skate
@jamesbond66874 жыл бұрын
Yes...it is a 125 mm. The difference between this skate and other Skates as far as weight is concerned is not a big difference...the only time the weight is noticeable is when it is an aggressive skate or off road skate to me. I would say the off road skates are the heaviest...
