A tutorial on using OXI with Elektron is much needed....

I'm sure your channel will be growing with content like that. Nice

I just bought a Hapax for this exact setup. Looks like both sequencer will do the job well.

I have yet to check out the Hapax but have only heard great things🙏🏼

Can you "arpeggiate" samples on the digitakt? Sounds great.
@headlesstechnoАй бұрын
I haven't tried but the oxi does arpegiate. Good thing to try in another vid🙌🏽

Random techy question.. I noticed your using the oxi split. I’ve seen that you can send midi to each individual unit via the split (example 1a - 16a digitakt 1b - 16b syntakt). Is this how you have it set up?
@headlesstechnoАй бұрын
That is precisely how I have it set up for this example. Assigned each unit to its own midi channel per track using the split and not using the electron sequencers. Thanks🙌🏽

@@headlesstechnohow many channels does that use up per machine? 8 or 16? What is meant with 16a/16b? Splitter - Out1 into Digitakt Midi In, Out2 into Syntakt Midi In? and how does that split mode work? So you have more Midi Channels left after this? I also saw you did P Locks on the Oxi, that is nice to have that

does the Oxi also do basslines and melody midi generation?

no

There is a mode called Matriceal on the oxi in which you can get quite a deep level of randomization but yes, you still need to create a starting point and that being which key and must input notes manually. 🙌🏽 Good thing to try in another video. Thanks!
