Just like we say it is unacceptable for Aaron Rodgers to have only won one superbowl due to his talent, Justin Herbert is in that class compared to Dak and Purdy. Herbert is still an ascending player, we have already seen the best of Dak, he does not have another ceiling and Purdy is still limited.

Justin Herbert played the entirity of the 2022 season with broken ribs and the entirity of the 2023 season whilst they were in contention for te playpffs with broken fingers and he was consistlent the only bright spark on that god awful football team. Staley managed to get the gm to invest in the defensive side of the ball so much money that they were the highest paid in the league and never surpassed the 20th spot in nfl wide defense. Justin is a great player they would be insane to trade him ( ehich they wont) if harbaugh wanted mccarthy he could have gone to any of the qb needy teams hiring and taken him without having to incur the cap penalties. Harbaugh loves herbert thats why hes in la and they are gonna win games som edamn games finally. And then there will be nothing holding herbert back.

It's funny how these experts don't know anything. First Herbert has a "no-trade" clause. And if he were traded, it would cost the team 125 million dollars right now. Also, Harbaugh admitted one of the drawing cards for coming to the Chargers was Herbert. He called Herbert, the "crown jewel" of the team, that he was in awe of him. I made my top 10 after hearing the discussion: Mahomes, Burrow, Lamar, Josh, and then I think I’d choose Herbert because Hurts had one great year and aside from that has been only pretty good, Purdy is so hard to assess because the talent on that team, Stroud has only done it for one year, Stafford and Rodgers at their current ages I’d say Herbert is definitely better, and from pure talent I completely believe Justin is better than Goff and Tua.
