Giving Finals MVP to a player on the losing team is a slap in the face and insulting. That's how Jerry West felt about it and it's how any normal competitor would feel about it. It doesn't make sense and should not be an option.

There was more to that Bucks come back than Giannis going crazy. It was also a great adjustment made by having Holiday guard Chris Paul instead of Middleton. That messed up the suns half court offense and led to a lot of fastbreak opportunities for the Bucks. It's hard to see any serious adjustments like that in this series.

I didn't say he wasn't valuable in their road to the playoffs but that's not what this award is about. The award is about your performance in that one series and if the team is going to lose they could've done that if they forfeited all the games. I'm with 99% Nick but going to Game 6+ has to be *because* of Luka. He can't just average 30 in a win. That's a team effort despite his stats. I need to have him drop like 50 and be competent defensively. You lose a series but put up an effort like that in Game 5 then yeah, you were the reason why Game 6 even happened. You just put up 30, have the same kind of mediocre defense, and still rely on your team so heavily but ultimately lose the series you're not the most valuable player. That goes to Jaylen because he's done so well both ways and so consistently.
