This has got to be one the most iconic songs of the 70s. Abba were fabulous 👌. They had so many hits..."Mamma Mia" 1975..."Waterloo" 1974..."Money Money Money" 1976... And too many more to mention right now. ❤🎼🎶🎙💃🕺

Most people think Abba was successful just because of the incredible, harmonious voices of the girls. While true, the complex production of the songs was next to none and well ahead of its time. Love and respect, brother, hog fam Canada 🇨🇦 ❤

These is ABBA, the iconic Swedish pop quartet, the best, most versatile and most important of the 70s, in the post BEATLES decade (the revolutionary group of the 60s) ABBA, as in its time BEATLES, was a musical and cultural phenomenon, and its legacy lives on ABBA is the biggest musical act in the history of both continental Europe and the non-English speaking world They are the first non-English speaking group to have considerable success in major English-speaking countries And is the first group to break with the hegemony of NorthAmerican, English and Australian artists in the music market dominated by British culture. ABBA is an acronim with the initials of their first names; initialy was two swedish couples too: A- Agnetha (blonde lead vocal) & B- Björn (guitarist and songwriter) B- Benny (pianist and songwriter) & A- Anni Frid (brunette lead vocal) (both couples separated before the breakup of the group in 1982) ABBA recording between 1972/1982, have a wonderful series of more than 20 worldwide hits, included nine singles #1 in UK: Waterloo Mamma Mia Fernando Dancing Queen Knowing me knowing you The name of the game Take a chance on me The winner takes it all Super trouper And after more than 35 years ABBA return to studio in 2017 and recording a full new album "Voyage" between 2017/2021 released in November 2021 and is a worldwide succes And in last May 2022 all four ABBA members asist to the premiere of the new Voyage concerts (with avatars of Theirself) in the new ABBA Arena at London UK (another greatest success,, with tickets on sale to November 2023) The ages of all ABBA members now is 73 Agnetha Fältskog ; 76 Benny Andersson 78 Björn Ulvaeus ; 77 Anni Frid (Frida) Lyngstad I hope to see more reactions to ABBA GOD bless you my best regards from Buenos Aires Argentina 🇦🇷 South America

One thing I don't think ABBA gets enough credit for is the production of their songs. Their mixing is immaculate.

ooh wow man!what a euphoric reaction!ABBA had suffered so much from unfair critical voices in the media back then that rejected them for making 'commercial crap" as Bjorn had also stated in an interview. But now i'm so proud that newer Gens really apreciate the music that we grew up and do justice to what we Abba fans back at the time felt was so gorgeous and so exceptional .Thank you Shon!

"Dancing Queen" (1976) is a beautiful song, a fantastic Masterpiece, which shines in the loftiness of its vocal harmonies the blonde singer Agnetha is soprano voice, the brunette singer Frida is mezzo soprano voice, and blending together made the famous and fantastic 'third voice of ABBA' And the music is bright and enveloping, from the initial chord it introduces you into the atmosphere of the disco and invites you to dance "Dancing Queen" is the biggest worldwide hit to ABBA #1 in several countries of all the world included the only #1 to ABBA at US Billboard in 1977 is the flagship ABBA song with the most vews in Spotyfy and KZfaq English public has voted it as one of the songs they want to hear the most, because of the feeling of joy and energy it gives them (another is "Don't stop me now" by Queen) And in 2015 "Dancing Queen" was included in the Hall of Fame of Grammys awards music ABBA begin to be famous in 1974, when They won the Eurovision Song Contest in UK with their iconic song "Waterloo" these is the link of the live perfomance, that I suggest you to a next reaction kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aayjich-35eqZZc.html I hope to see you with more reactions to ABBA songs My best regards from Buenos Aires, Argentina South America

Awesome reaction. This was a worldwide BOMB, a US #1, and remains one of the most famous singles ever. There is an entire ABBA universe to discover. They have charted something like 40 hits worldwide, selling 1/2 a BILLION records worldwide, which is in the rare air of Michael and The Beatles. Check out "Fernando" "Voulez-Vous" "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme" and "The Name of the Game" for starters. Everything about them is infectious and addicting!

Definitely good vibes when I hear this song and dance with my granddaughters. My granddaughters think their YaYa is awesome cause I show them all the old dance moves.🤣🤣 ✌🏻😎 yes

You took me back to my college days in 1977-78. We played this one in the car non-stop wherever we went. We had these things called cassette tapes and you played them in the car. This was one of the hottest groups in Europe in the 1970's. They made some noise here in the US, in particular with this song. My best friend's family was originally from Sweden and that's how I got into the group. I had all their LPs. The lyrics to their songs were easy to learn and fun to sing along to.

This was my sorority’s song. We’d be at huge frat parties and events in the 2000’s with rap and hip hop playing nonstop, big then you’d hear that RIP of the piano from the beginning of this song, and me and my sorority sisters from all over the party or club would rush to the dance floor. It was like our call to dance! Everybody would move out if the way on the dance floor while we’d take over and do our sorority dance to the song. It’s not just us, every other chapter of DZ in the country does the same dance to this song. It’s so fun to watch and see and be a part of!

Me and my besties from our chapter, we graduated around 2004, but we still all break out with this dance at everybody’s weddings and parties. This song had so much meaning for us way back in college, and now all our daughters know this song and know the dance and they’ll all be DZ’s too at their future colleges, if they want to be.

Cheers from Sweden (ABBA-land)! Proud as a swede for them of coarse, but back in the 70s they were considered a bit corny, not cool. I as a teen was (and still) in to more funky groovy stuff. In my opinion "Voulez vouz" is their best song!

This was the uncool band at the time - mom, dad, and the uncool kids liked em. Several decades later - considered one of the pop bands of all time. In fact, a 3,000 theatre made just for their holograms in LONDON has just sold their 1,000,000 ticket. No one could do this.
