I am always amazed when an adult of any background says "first time hearing"; Back in Black, Hells Bells or Highway to Hell, Paranoid or many other popular rock songs. Maybe first time actually paying attention to such songs, but these songs are so deeply embedded in culture, my grandparents have heard most of these songs...just unbelievable. I'm honestly curious how you become an adult human without having heard many of these songs.

Honestly don't react to highway to hell if your going to watch live at river plate 2009 just because its kinda taboo to watch Brian Johnson the current singer who was 61 at the time try to sing a Bon Scott song aka the previous singer. It's a bad representation of a great Bon Scott song honestly just watch the official or the live version with Bon Scott is Highway to Hell (from Countdown, 1979) it will make all the AC/DC fans happy :)

BACK IN BLACK is arguably the greatest rock album ever. None of the songs are the greatest ever. But every song on the album is good. None of the songs are just filler to complete an album. One of the very few albums that you don't have to fast foward through. You can just put it on and let it play through.

Bon Scott had just died a few months before this, hence, the Bell.

you can literally deep dive the entire Back in Black album. nothing but top shelf kick ass rock and roll start to finish.

I was in 6th grade when this album dropped. It was a seriously catchy hard rock welcome into the 1980's! Its all killer, no filler, an album full of bangers! If you ask for whom the bell tolls? It tolls for thee!

In the beginning of this song, the bell is played out. 13 rings are rung to symbolize Bon's Scott's life.

When I saw them in 1980, they lead with this song and the brought down a huge bell over the stage. Awesome.

Think I've said this before, but listening to the studio versions 1st is best, simply for the purity of the music. Live versions are great, for the pure pleasure of seeing the artists perform. Terrific song from the "thunder from Down Under"! Thanks for your reaction.
