He and his wife are now grandparents - they did separate for a year at the most in the late 90’s however they were high school sweethearts and it only lasted for that short time then got back together and they’ve never looked back. You should hear his song “Where were you when the world stopped turning” that’s his tribute to 9/11.......It’s amazing!!

Thank you for that happy ending. My wife and I did separate for a year in 2005, but we reconciled in 2006. We have been together ever since. While we were apart, we were still faithful. I spent that time working a lot of overtime, and saving money in the hopes that we could be a family again. My wife did the same as she did the amazing thing of managing dollar stores and even buying me my dream car. I still drive that car, and I in turn bought her the Jeep she always wanted a few years later with money I had been stashing. When you love someone so very much, you only think of them, and not yourself.

Alan has an amazing song that he wrote right after 9-11called "Where Were You When the World Stopped Turning". Twenty-one years later and it still gets to me. He is an incredible storyteller. "Midnight in Montgomery" is also a must listen!

That is his wife of over 40 years dancing with him & in many of the clips. He has a ton of beautiful music & fun stuff too. 'Chattahoochee' is very fun, as is 'It's Five o'clock somewhere', & his 9/11 tribute written immediately afterwards, 'Where were you when the world stopped turning' is amazing. He is a Goat of country, Like Garth & George Strait.

There was a twist in the song, they were together as high school sweethearts and somewhere along the way, Alan strayed and they broke up but found their way back to each other and then kids came, but they've been together over 40 years now I believe.

Miss Denise was a flight attendant for Delta where I also worked. I knew her when she was still flying. Alan is from Nenan, GA where I live. She introduced me to him whe n he came back "home". He would go to Scott's Bookstore on the square in Newnan and sign autographs and pose for pics with fans. He would do short Unannounced shows for his fans when he was in town.

Alan Jackson is a great American singer & songwriter who blended traditional honky-tonk & mainstream country pop sounds. He has so many hits such as "Here In The Real World", "Wanted", "Chasin' That Neon Rainbow", "I'd Love You All Over Again", "Don't Rock the Jukebox" "Someday", "Dallas", "Love's Got A Hold on You", "Midnight in Montgomery", "She's Got The Rhythm (And I Got the Blues)", "Tonight I Climbed The Wall", "Mercury Blues", "(Who Says) You Can't Have It All", "Little Bitty", "There Goes", "Who's Cheatin' Who", "I'll Go On Loving You" etc

His story is amazing. Somehow through all the trials he stayed grounded. Call it faith. To me, this right here is a successful life. Not sleeping with ten thousand women, but laying with your wife for that many times. It’s truth, it’s real, it’s love, it’s human fragility, it’s faith.

Adore this song. Still think you need to do Tyler Childers Hard Times, Nose to the Grindstone, and Whitehouse Road. He’s new Country but he’s Authentic Appalachia and his voice will shake you. It’s raw, authentic country which is hard to find these days out of the new guys.

Alan is from my hometown, Newnan Ga. He actually graduated with my mom and father in law. An E4 tornado hit Newnan in March 2020. Alan came back and put on a concert that raised $2 million to help the people who lost everything. He recently came out and said he has a hereditary disease that will eventually cause him to not be able to perform anymore. His father and sister both have/had it.

Alan Jackson = Living Legend This song always guts me. My husband & I look at ea other so often and say Where have 27yrs gone??? What’s sad to me is the surprise so many have when we say how long we’ve been married. And really there’s no great secret: The so-called ‘perfect’ marriage: 1.Recognize you’re both imperfect. 2. One day at a time. Ea day, try to think of ONE thing you can do to make your spouse’s day easier. It doesn’t have to be ‘big’. Feed the dog, pick up the dry cleaning, wash that one dish in the sink. The little things become big things. 3. When there are only 2 brownies left in the pan, always leave the biggest one for your spouse. (This one is *really* hard😂) Check Alan on I Don’t Even Know Your Last Name, Sissy’s Song, Where Were You, Five O’Clock Somewhere. Thnx for another great reaction! Stay safe & love much💖

Alan has a fantastic discography. Party songs, songs about growing up, love, dancing, silliness, thoughtful songs, even a song about 9/11 that will have you in tears. Just really excellent songwriting paired with that tenderness that infuses his voice. He has a great way of expressing vulnerability in his singing. The man is a massive talent.
