At four years old she contracted double pnumonia which led to sepsis, a blood infection. She suffered massive organ failure and was placed in a coma on total life support. Her life was saved by a kidney transplant from her mother, I believe, 18 months later. Even though she has scar tissue in her lungs from the pnumonia, she sings like an angel!!! She is the National Spokesperson for the National Kidney Foundation and the Sepsis Alliance, and has helped raise literally hundreds of millions of dollars for charities including the Children's Miracle Network and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta!!!

She came in second place to Darci Lynne, about five years ago, on AGT. She had a very powerful voice and showed everyone how good she'd become.

You must watch her first audition on AGT. Talk about shocking. This tiny child with her tiny speaking voice starts to sing and everyone there was stunned and amazed. I have no idea why she didn’t get a golden buzzer.

Suzanne McNamara - She didn't get the Golden Buzzer on that performance because all 4 judges had already used their Golden Buzzer (each judge gets 1 and only 1 Golden Buzzer) by the time she performed. That's why they brought on a guest judge for Angelica's 2nd performance, to get another Golden Buzzer which went to Angelica.

There are so many amazing performances from Angelica! I remember the first time I saw her - I had the same reaction you did! I love that she can sing anything from opera to pop and so articulate, even when she was five years old. Warrior is one of my favourites, and she just put up a live version of that on KZfaq. Earlier performances I love are the sound of music, o mia bambino caro, somewhere only we know, the prayer rehearsal with Daniel Emmett.....there's so many! We don't talk about Bruno is another amazing recent cover.

She's only 11 years old when she was 4 years old she got sick with double pneumonia and she was hospitalized for 80 days she wasn't expected to live n she was on dialysis for one n a half year all her organs shut down even her kidney so her MOM gave her one of her Kidney that makes her live when she was 6 years old n when she's 9 that's when she was competed on AGT 2017 n she was the first youngest runner up in history of AGT so she has a Video of her story you can check it out and maybe you can start from her performances on AGT 2017 first Audition RISE UP, GIRL on FIRE she had the Golden Buzzer,live show CLARITY, semifinals WITHOUT YOU,n the FINAL SYMPHONY.she's the only one in History of AGT that had 2 GOLDEN BUZZERS 2019 AGT the CHAMPION she was only 11 hope you'll have time to check all these out thank you looking forward for your reaction have a blessed day.

I believe in miracles this young girl was in coma at the age of 4 yrs old in the hospital for 82 days suffering from spells her mother give her a kidney that what saved her but the good Lord gave her the rest she is just a child but when she sings she sing like a grown woman she also is a very very smart girl that’s why I say the good lord gave her the rest

Josepi - Angelica was 9 years old at the beginning. She had a birthday and was 10 years old by the finals.

As others have said, I am super happy that you are reacting to Angelica. I can say, I think the sound at this performance was not great. I think if you want to hear a good performance live, you should react to her performing I'll be there by Michael Jackson when she was 8 years old. Another great performance at that age was her performance of the National Anthem at the age of 8 for the Atlanta Braves. Her vocal coach is Tara Simon who reacts to her two performances during AGT The Champions in 2019. I recommend seeing those also, though one of those performances was this song.

It's a personal thought, I believe when Miss Angelica Hale was sleeping with the angel's at the age of 4, (a coma) she was touched, and given a purpose. Even from her first performance, she received the same stunned and emotional response from a crossed the planet regardless of the beliefs or language barriers. A child coming back from a death bed to fight for other sick children and to give hope where there may be little. This young lady is a example of the triumph of the human spirit and a higher power's hand at work. Simply put, she's our angel.

As you said, she was only a child (12 years old) at the time of this performance and she's still only 14 and her voice is still maturing. During her Supporter and Patreon lives, she says that she's working to expand her lower range (she's definitely a soprano) and there are a few covers on her KZfaq channel where you can clearly hear her lower range. It’s a song by Shontelle but it’s mostly known due to the cover done by James Arthur who won the season 12 of X factor in the UK and his single of impossible became and still is the highest selling single by a winner in the show’s history. You should check out his version but especially a live version. He is one artist that sounds better live than his recordings. He is one of my favorite artists and definitely deserves more recognition for his talent. He’s big but not as big as he should be compared to his talent especially in terms of being able to very much show and put in the emotions to his singing to make you feel it.

Thanks form your reaction to Angelica. You may want to consider doing reactions for her AGT and AGT the Champions performances. She's the only person in AGT history to have been awarded two golden buzzers. The first was for her performance of "Girl on Fire" at age 9 (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/r7mPqcRhv9jbn40.html).
