Here is a 9 years old child who says “I care very much for children”. When are we adults going to pay more attention to children and their needs? Angelina’s wisdom is way beyond her years. “I met her in the Middle East but it could have been anywhere” I hope we take a minute to absorb that. Thank you for your reaction and more Angelina please.

Angelina inspired me to give my shoes to a lady who had no shoes walking home during a rain storm. She told me she was close to home but that didn’t matter to me because it was still a distance. I happily gave her my shoes with no regrets. Thank you for another wonderful reaction to our Barefoot Angel.

Wonderful reaction to our Barefoot Princess. So nice for you to get the story of her bare feet from her. She has a huge heart. I understand she gave most if not all of her winnings from Norway's Got Talent, about $50,000, and has helped raise millions more for children charities and also I believe climate change. That rendition was sublime and really showed some of her range at that age. Thank you for the wonderful reaction. ♥👣👸🏻🎷

Tusen takk (thousand thanks) Rosalie for a great reaction to my request for the interview and "Unchained Melody" which she sang the full version of a few years later. Angelina read from her diary that she wrote right after the encounter with the poor, orphan girl when Angelina was 6 years old. Angelina inspires us in so many ways and I thank reactors who introduce her to new people. I especially thank the reactors who make a point of always having links to the original video AND verbally encourage viewers to use that link to watch, like and comment on it so the artist gets a boost in their analytics. Angelina would want you to do the same for each artist you feature. *Why Angelina always performs barefoot* At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes. Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East. PLEASE PURCHASE Angelina’s book from her merchandise store on her official website, angelinajordanofficial

Angelina is said to be her own trainer , no one can take credit but Angelina for her vocal prowess. Her family ,as it has been reported, has not allowed any so called professional vocal coach interfere with her voice and her talent. Angelina is self activated with her God given birth gift of music and vocal abilities. Angelina has perfected herself from a toddler and beyond, unlike others before her. Thanks for this one Rosalie!!

Even though she was 9 in this video, she is reading her beautiful cursive handwriting from her diary written when she was 6! Think about that. She was able to converse with the orphan girl since she learned Farsi from her Iranian Grandma Mery. Then there's the obvious empathy in her heart for other human beings, especially children. She's special!!!

Shortly after the loss of my wife of fifty years to lung cancer, Someone pointed out to me that there was a young singer that I should check out because she is phenomenal. At the time , I was going through a lot of depression. Anyways, I found her performing an Elvis Presley song, it's now or never. She immediately stole my heart. I have watched and listened to her everyday since, and that was several years ago now.She makes me feel like a proud grandpa. Rosalie, you are great at noting the small details in this Angelina interview and brief song. From both, you chose those attributes, talents and things very characteristic of who and WHY Angelina is ANGELINA. Her ability to grasp the concept of the life circumstances of a child her age on a street in the Middle East which she points out ( could've been any street). On her own, she engaged in a brief conversation that moved her profoundly.. and to write about it with the eloquence of a seasoned writer, documents her impressions. In that story is much, much more. Angelina displays her heart to every person. She DEMONSTRATED this most significant lesson. SYMPATHY is a feeling, COMPASSION is going further and DOING something about it.. she takes the shoes off her feet, in a loving, caring, compassionate gesture gives them to her newfound friend.. whom she honors each time she sings... Wise beyond her years, she gives EVERYONE a reminder that kindness, concern, and being proactive are necessary to make your immediate surroundings a better place. Angelina is GIFTED.. and she is a genius to weave such an inspirational story from a chance meeting... Thank God for this special creation whose name is ANGELINA.

Great reacrion, Rosalie! And thanks to Andy Schnell as well (See ? I rhymed 😁) In the subtitles it looked as if Angelina mentioned Germany and Hamburg as two separate countries, but she added quickkly that she meant that she'd been performing in Hamburg, Germany. The part was lost in translation 🙂 She was somewhat of a globetrotter already at age 10. Vocal range wise she has always had the ability to wherever she wants, from the very beginning, but we don't get to see it too often. She is very aware of her vocal choices, and often times stay more or less in the same pocket. She's never been the kind of artist to show off her capabilities, so WHEN we get to hear them (more often nowadays) they really stand out. Ich hoffe, wir sehen uns bald wieder 🙂 I hope that was SOMEWHAT correct at least🤣 Have a great weekend! Much love from Norway ♥♥♥♥♥

Hi Shark, I think that Angelina must have learned at her after school arts program how to care for her voice, especially when your body is growing up from childhood to adulthood and how fragile it can be. You are right on about her ability to go anywhere in her range at any time even as a young child, and she always gives us just a little sample every once in awhile. Like Loving You at the 2017 Proysenfest, where she really goes off, or Mt. Everest last summer.

That interview, combined with others around the book, signified for me that she has a depth that is more than precocious talent. It includes that talent, but the talent is only part of who she is. From that depth, though, comes so much of what people cannot name or express about her voice and how it moves people, captures people, inspires, calls, , raises, and so on. It speaks to the soul and the empathy that allows her to strive to "sing for the world; to make people happy." We don't just nurture talent (what someone can DO), but we nurture a whole person (someone who can BE) that persists beyond all doing. Even now, as she has just turned 17 in January 2023, her voice contains qualities of being that the technical analysis of how her voice works and how she manages that run, etc. just do not completely explain. That is the mystery in her gift. I love her for sharing so much with us and pray that she never wants for anything in the years beyond career. Grandma Ellen, recognizing a once in a century gift to humanity.

Genius Exceptional intellectual or creative power, the greatest musical genius of our time is Angelina Jordan. Can one be hypnotized by sound? Shamans use rhythmic drumming and chanting to achieve control over a mind. Angelina's is unique in that she has the ability to create audios that trigger your brains "frequency following response". She has the ability to create a euphoric addiction to her total being similar to drugs, but without the side effects, she is in fact, like nothing I have ever experienced in the past.

Great reaction, Rosalie! What an amazing child Angelina is/was! She doesn't like to speak much and is very humble, but when she sings she moves me to tears. It is the purity of her tone and the honesty of her performance that moves me. You ask what are my favourite Angelina performances and I have to say Every Time We Say Goodbye, sung from the rooftop of the TV2 building in Oslo at age 10. So pure, so simple, I tear up every time! Yet it seems to get neglected by reactors, so if you cover it it would make me very happy!

So happy you reacted to these 2. Thank you. I'm glad you learned more about her. If you really want to hear her lower range, listen to these 2 covers from her. Her lowest notes (around a G2-A2) "You makemefeelsoyoung" by Frank Sinatra, and Angie was 13 and dressing the part, even her hair and she sings both male and female parts in a kind of self duet. Also "How great thou art" as a Elvis cover and in the same key (around a B-2-C3) and she was 12. Can't wait to watch you react to these 2 and watch you go agape.

I’ve read several comments on other channels that the whole story and publishing the book was a gimmick of self promoting. This is totally false. The idea of publishing this book was not Angelina’s or any member of her family. Erling Kittelsen, a Norwegian author and poet who is a friend of Angelina’s family. On one of his visits, he noticed young Angelina busy writing. He asked her about that to which she replied that she likes to write a lot especially in her diary. She asked him if he wants to read some of her writings to see if she was good at it. While reading some of the diary entries, he came across the story of her giving her shoes to the orphan girl. He was so impressed by the story and the depths of her words that he said that this has to be published and took it upon himself to make sure that it was. Here is a conversation between Angelina and Mr. Kittlesen about her book. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bNZmnK9qnZ-0j2w.html Hope you enjoy listening to it.

You know more about this than I do, so I'm curious as to your thoughts. This is Angelina last spring doing her piano ballad version of Suspicious Minds, as a tribute to Elvis Presley, what with the Elvis movie coming out then. She was 16 and her voice has deepened. She's being called an Alto, but I don't know enough about it to say. You do. Anyway the video took off, Angie's hair was amazing, and you get to see her two little cousins and her sister Juliette! Hope you like it! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iLqSfsucyMu2YGQ.html

In this interview she’s 9. She was barefoot on NGT at 7. So this encounter occurred when she was 6 maybe 7. How many kids that age can express their thoughts at such a deep level of understanding? How many have the ability to even keep a journal? SMH🤔
