Arijit is famous for these kind of emotional songs. Other songs (like mere dholna) which you have reacted were his difficult songs which shows his singing technicalities but this is his genre for which he is known. There are so many songs of him like this . You should react to them.

This song just hits differently...There are many numerous sad songs...one of them is Channa Mere Aa by him.. Do check that out with lyrics.. if you want to listen to romantic one..you should definitely listen to Tum Hi Ho by him with lyrics, which was the song that blasted and made him Indian's favourite singer...these two songs are definitely a must...There are numerous others also which you should hear

Listen to some other good songs, and those songs will make you cry (cry of joy, cry of broken heart, cry of love, every different kind of cry) as well.
