Great reactions, two different perspectives but such similar reactions. Aurora has that effect on people. She said she wrote it because she was in a bad "bubble" where she was only seeing the bad that this life has to offer; she said she wrote it to heal herself. She heals not only herself but all who listen to her message....

People talk a lot about the stripped down version, but this one just gives me chills and goosebumps every single time. The harp mixed with the guitar, her voice, the quire, it's just amazing, angelic... Also, an interesting thing: as far as I know, after hearing this from a psychiatrist, when we're kids we simply do not have the ability to "care" about what isn't directly around us. That ability only comes at a later age (it has a name but I'm not remembering it right now)

Song is in an Old Norse language and is about the the journey to the afterlife. Pure magic.

The VEVO Stripped version is accapella with her band at the time. Aurora surrounds herself with awesome musicians/vocalists. It is just a different, beautiful version of this song.

Oh I don’t doubt it. Just any songs with the VEVO sticker on it tend to get CC blocked so we can’t release them. That’s why we tend to do 3rd party performances or performances that don’t have VEVO on them

Thank you for this reaction to one of my favorite Aurora songs -I tend to favor the stripped down version (which you definitely should listen to because she will often perform her songs arranged a little differently so that they are almost like hearing them for the first time again). Also, you might enjoy hearing some of her covers. If you are familiar with any of these songs, you will be amazed at what she does with them. God is a Woman - Ariana Grande Life on Mars - David Bowie Believer - David Bowie Across the Universe - John Lennon Teardrop - Massive Attack Into the Unknown - Idina Menzel

Hey guys...what a great reflection to this song and I totally agree with ThrowBox, but I may just add that this song is so special becauso of the message it delivers, being so simple, the lyrics are so impacting, deep and intimate on a mesmerizing performance...and all of that in a very simple song.....the stripped down Vevo version is also beautiful as it is a capella and the band just does the background vocals........who in this world wouldn't like to go back to childhood and have the chance of maybe starting again from zero...One of the most beautiful songs ever indeed

I am delighted that you have reacted to Aurora again. She is very "other worldly" and a prolific songwriter, writing her first song at the age of six. Ain addition to her haunting voice, Aurora mesmerises the viewer by her intricate arm and body movements. May I suggest that you react to another of her compositions, which is quite different from the one you have just done. "Exist for love": kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bb90ntV7xs-noqs.html

@@sarlina1 It is difficult to restrict myself to two favourites as I follow so many young singers. However, Angelina is undisputedly No. 1 with Aurora vying with Courtney Hadwin for second place and Connie Talbot fighting both for that position. And then, of course, there are the Classical singers where Patricia Janeckova vies with Amira Willighagen and Laura Bretan for top place. It's "all too much" :-)

Nidaros Cathedral(Nidarosdomen) is a medieval cathedral of the Church of Norway located in the city of Trondheim in Trøndelag county. It is built over the burial site of King Olav II, who became the patron saint of the nation, and is the traditional location for the consecration of new kings of Norway.

"Through the eyes of a child" makes me think about discovery and seeing things like you see them for the first time, with curiosity and wonder. It remind me of a story i read about the easter island, that the people there would lock up a few of their children in a dark cave until they grew older. They had never seen the world, just lived in the dark cave, having others bring them food and stuff, and when the time came they would take them out into the light to see the world. Why did they do this? The book i read said that it was because the rest of the people wanted to observe how a person would experience the world for the first time at an age where they could talk about it. Maybe this does not really relate to what Aurora wrote the song for, but it just made me think about this story...
