Man I really enjoy your reactions because you genuinely seem to enjoy what your doing and listening to Babymetal. We see a lot of fakers out there and can spot them in a heartbeat just trying to get clicks. Hope you have the time to watch THE ONE (official video) kzfaq.info/get/bejne/isCCqbJhuJO4fIk.html . Babymetal does and epic Crowd surf. Also Tales of the Destinies followed by The One Live at Tokyo Dome is epic. Tales of the destinies and The One are both one song that was split apart due to length. Tales of the Destinies was only performed live ONE TIME EVER at the Tokyo Dome probably due to Yui having to leave and the death of Mikio Fujioka (Guitarist) also, the difficulty of performing this live is just insane. You will even get a better appreciation for the song that was Written TO THE FANS. The One is the name of all of us fans of Babymetal. We are The One.

The One is indeed the name of the fanbase, and this is a love letter to them. It‘s the perfect soundtrack to that concept. I remember that it felt a little familiar when I heard this song for the first time, although it‘s very unlikely that I had come across it before (yes, this sentence doesn‘t make sense, but you know what I mean). And I think that‘s because the music in this song represents the message that it conveys perfectly. It‘s like it‘s the default soundtrack to the feeling of being part of a community being united by one love. And the pictures in the video make it even more intense. Very strong stuff! If you somehow get the chance, try to watch the introduction song to the „Legend S“ show, called „In the Name of“. It‘s the show with the stage built on three fox heads. THAT‘s the most epic Metal scene ever.

At 12:50 in your video, there is my favorite moment from any BABYMETAL concert. It's from the Tokyo Dome, and its the first time Su sees the 50,000 lights in the crowd. For just the briefest moment she loses her stage persona and her jaw drops in awe. It's a glimpse into her realization that all the hard work they'd put in for over half a decade has lead them here. It gets me every single time.

around your 12:45 mark, you see Su with her draw dropping... That was from their Tokyo Dome concert, and the girls were under the coffin shaped walkways getting ready to come out, so they didn't see the lights of all the crowd being turned on (you can hear the whole stadium gasping when that happened in the video) and the lights were turned off before the girls came out.... Su's jaw dropping was her seeing it for the first time with the whole stadium crowd being lit up.🤘🦊🤘

We, their fans, are THE ONE!!!! A couple of things; Su said to sensi Mori that she would gladly never to ride a bicycle to perform in the Tokyo Dome. Moa said that she was afraid to look down when they flying over the audience because she did not want her tears to hit anyone below them. There are 2 version, Japanese and an English version that Su said she wanted to do their foreign Fans.

You are misinterpreting what Mori sensei said: he was at the Tokyo Dome show, and it's almost like she made a deal with the devil to be able to perform at Tokyo Dome, the deal would be to not be able to ride a bike, read manga, etc. This is because of what a different person she is on-stage compared to the goofy off-stage.

It all started as a farfetched dream by an old metalhead, recruiting three gifted schoolgirls and metal musicians. Which after humble beginnings exploded on the net with the song "Gimme Chocolate". Seen initially by many as a nutty sideshow. But by far more as an irresistible and charming new way of playing metal music. They evolved with lightning speed into a band that brought us epic songs like this and unparalleled live performances. Babymetal is a living miracle in our time.

They are so crazy. They have made the best ballad I know, the best thrash metal I know, the best power metal I know, the best rap I know, the best dance music I know and they have the most powerful live acts I've ever seen. If there's one comment I wholeheartedly agree with it's "HOWWWWW????" I've had my face melted, blasted the f off, and I've lauged and I've cried like a baby to their music. It's such a collection of supremely talented people it's truly mind boggling.

Great reaction. They realised as they toured the world that their fans must be learning Japanese to sing along with them. They were so touched and humbled that they challenged themselves to learn a song completely in English to reciprocate and as a mark of their love and respect for their fans. 'The ONE' is that song - it is dedicated to their fans (also The ONE of course) and is effectively their love letter to the fans. This compilation video started with the "unfinished" version (ie acoustic version). The half and half English-Japanese version was on the Japanese edition of the Metal Resistance album as well. The official video has that version - this compilation used some of that - it was when they were flying above the crowd in the red pyramid/triangle thing. The lights in the crowd - Tokyo Dome had 55,000 people with neck braces that lit up, Legend S (with the fog covered walkway and the moving platform with fox heads all round it), all the crowd were wearing masks with LED bulbs in the forehead, Legend M (Moa's 20th birthday) everybody had a gauntlet with a bulb in it .... I'm sure there are more. Su nearly always takes out her IEM for the sing along parts of songs so she can hear the crowd's voices - she is a humble queen.

The earpieces that the girls and the Kamis wear are called IEMs (In-Ear Monitors). They are not for hearing protection. The IEMs allow the group to perform to a click track so that everyone is synchronized on-stage. They replace the old monitor speakers that you used to see at the front of the stage. (For an example, search for: oxox "blablablabla") But you are right that they do - from time-to-time - remove one earpiece to hear the audience.

I sucked up the ticket cost and got to see these ladies live at a Metal festival. Limited with what they could do there, but was an epic experience. I tried to record some of it and they broke my smartphone mic, I'm not even joking, was freaking amazing!

Great reaction! I think you're ready for No Rain No Rainbow from the Baptism XX show. For many The One who have listened to this song dozens of times, it's a good way to feel loved and appreciated because it was written especially for us. And the girls are ever so humble to always always always show their appreciation and love for the One. They don't take any of us for granted as before every performance, they are nervous that the fans won't like what they are about to do since each concert is different. That in itself is very telling of their personalites. Of course, those of us who are also Sakura Gakuin fans, all know where this attitude came from.

Some dating clues (you get to know the costumes but they mainly cycle through black, silver, red and gold.) The gold with the GIANT headress and long platform walk is a special show - Legend S - a show for Su's 20th birthday in her home town of Hiroshima (20 is when you are considered an adult in Japan). This is also the first time Yui was not present having been pulled out of the show shortly before due to undisclosed health issues. Yui never performed again with BABYMETAL. Additionally if you look at Su you can see a long piece of hair either side of her face - a Japanese tradition that on turning 20 is cut. So Su with the two hair strands is Yui era and pre 20 / without is over 20 and post Yui era).

After watching one of these epic live performances by BabyMetal, I always think, what if Su didn't want to be in a metal band. In the beginning she didn't even know what metal was and when she first heard it, it scared her. We all know she is incredibly gifted so what ever she did, pop idol, musical theater, or whatever, she would have been successful but would any of that compare to being on stage at one of these shows in front of 50,000 fans Even when the stars align ONLY THE FOX GOD KNOWS Watch this cover of The One it's one of the best I've seen kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iq1gm8tll9CUc4k.html

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。Saki of Nemophila and a big BM fan, told in an interview "The One is so difficult that it is not a kind of song humans should play. It is, however, very cool and decently Kawaii" [source: Japanese magazine Headbang vol.24 page 120]. Some people said this song was a little bit too repetitive. But in their live performance you feel as if the length of this song were only 30 seconds and want to listen to it forever. I witnessed it total 10 times at venues. Whenever they performed this song, I saw divine beauty and heard angelic voices.

When BM performed "The One" in the Tokyo Dome 9/16/16 the audience was issued neck braces with lights. In the piano intro, the neck brace lights came on and off, but as the girls came out from a lift under the stage, the lights went out. About 2/3 of the way through the song, ALL of the neck brace lights came on and Su was caught by surprise. Her jaw dropped for 3 seconds, but pro that she is, she recovered and went on.

Jaw on the floor, tears in the eyes, goosebumps all over, smiling, laughing - these are all perfectly normal reactions to Babymetal and I guarantee that most people watching your reaction felt all that and had those reactions, just as you did. For me, the most moving thing - as well as knowing that this is the song for the fanbase (The One), sung in English (mostly) as an appreciative Thank You for the fans outside Japan - is seeing the clips of the girls in those silver hoods and cloaks and knowing that, at the end of that performance, when all three girls face inwards and hold one hand up in the fox sign, their hands forming a triangle, was the very last moment that Yui appeared with them. Always hits me hard. Those necklaces with the LED's for everyone in the colossal audience was a sight to behold too. Babymetal do EPIC like no other band. Guess the next most moving performance is Su, in her home town of Hiroshima on her 20th birthday, having just learned not long before the show that Yui would not be returning and her and Moa would have to do the whole gig by themselves, singing a solo, the moving Power ballad 'No Rain, No Rainbow' ( kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pqqXpNJny8nQmY0.html ). The fact that no-one knew this was to be Mikio Fujioka-san's last performance on lead guitar as he died a few weeks later only makes it even more powerful. RIP, Guitar God. Oh, and we love you for your open and honest reactions, so never worry about showing how you feel. If it's Babymetal, we're all almost definitely doing exactly the same. You, me, Su, Moa, Yui, The Kami Band, every person who loves Babymetal, we are all The One.

BM change the costumes up for each tour and as they've become adults they've moved away from the rather "girlish" tutus to some leather costumes and now more iridescent lacy dresses. The One is BM's gift to their fans and so it has great emotional impact when it's performed at concerts. The compilation starts out with the acoustic version and has video from Tokyo Dome, Yokohama 2015 and Yui's final performance at Big Fox Festival 2017 in Osaka. An acoustic version of The One was the last song they released before going on their most recent hiatus. It's subtitled "Stairway to Living Legend" and has Su in the middle of the Budokan stage with Moa walking around her before the are seen climbing a stairway to the sky, or maybe Heaven. Then they appear to transform into shooting starts and are joined by a third and disappear into the blackness of the sky. I challenge any kitsune not to shed a tear or have a lump in their throat as three metal spirits vanish. The One is a classic prog rock ballad and the best way to experience it is after listening to it's companion piece "Tales of the Destinies". You'll hear the same theme restated. BM performed TOTD and The One one after the other at the Tokyo Dome and it's incredible: I bought the Tokyo Dome DVD just for those two songs.

I would recommend those: - Syncopation - one of those absolute fan favorites like Megitsune, Headbanger - Yava - another fan favorite, close to Syncopation in my list - Kimi to Anime ga Mitai - Since you watch anime recently, Babymetal has a kawaii song about watching anime, Su high notes in this one is my favorite - No Rain No Rainbow if you want to see how Su put emotion in and take the song to another level

Oh thank you thank you for finally reacting to The One!!! I KNEW you would absolutely love it once you heard/saw it! BABYMETAL are just mind blowing, they stir many emotions with their music. If you ever questioned why I was all Babymetal, now you know. One thing thats great about this song is that you can watch any version of it and it'll be a brand new reaction. Tokyo Dome, Stairway to Living Legend, each 100% their own that tap into a different part of your soul. I've cried at them all for entirely different reasons. I lived a lot of years without connecting with anyone the way that I connected with the Babymetal community. Before ours, I was theirs. I still am and I always will be because the best humans that I have ever found, I have found through this band. I know i can be cringe af about it but I wouldn't be crying rn if I didn't feel that passionately and that's just how we are. We are a family.

Nice one, that's why I became a dedicated BM fan too, there are many great artists, singers, bands that I listen to. At first, tbh, Babymetal was not the type of music I would listen to, but seeing their live performances and hearing Su live vocal got me connected and felt something that I've never felt before with music

Wembley Arena 2014. They had a crowd gathered in Tokyo watching the whole gig. Then came The One. We had a live stream from Tokyo on a massive screen. We really were The One. It was too emotional

One of the very rare moments Su is actually ever stunned on stage, occurs at 12:50 in your video. She is looking out at the 55000 people in the Tokyo dome as all of the lights they are wearing turn on at the exact same time. The sheer impact of seeing that at that scale must have been overwhelming, even to a seasoned veteran like her. She had NOT seen the lights until then, the only other time they were lit was before the girls had come into view, they had been turned back off. That is very real surprise on her face, that jaw drop, it almost shook her, but the pro she is, she keeps it together. One of the greatest single moments in BABYMETAL history, their absolute peak. It has never been that grand of scale since. Fifty, five, thousand, lit up in unison with the words "We are The One." The culmination of their life's work up til that point. Hard to imagine that was over six years ago now. THAT was The One. Imagine writing a song as a love letter, a thank you, to your fans worldwide, by singing in English because they learned Japanese to understand your songs, and seeing ALL OF THEM all at once like that. This is why BABYMETAL wins every time. The One is united by and through them.

Every time this song starts, the first couple of piano notes, tears start to well up and then like the air is sucked out of the room when Su starts to sing, and you just have to inhale deep, this song always gets to me.🦊

I was there Yokohama Arena and they started with The One on first day.I was surprised and had no way to cry.This filmed stage was on 2nd day.

You should check out the performance Babymetal did with Rob Halford. They did the songs "Painkiller" and "Breaking the Law" at the 2016 Alternative Press Music Awards. The girls did a fantastic job (as per usual) and it was cool seeing them with on of the old school metal greats.

Up till very recently you had mostly been reacting to first album songs, except for Karate. I think you will discover that their third album is very unique even to what you have heard before. The third album is an exploration of world music, metal, and jpop. Some don't like it because it isn't as "metal" as their previous work. The trilogy of lights is as epic as The One, in their own way. Starlight, Shine, and Arkadia. They are meant to to be listened to in that order. Would make a good longer form video to react to all of them. Arkadia always brings a tear to my eye when I am listening to it, it is so full of hope. From Dusk Till Dawn is a cool ethereal song that I would recommend, all in English and Moa has more than just the simple back up lines. Akatsuki, both black knight version and unfinsihed version are good reactions. Especially the unfinished version which is the most emotional sounding I think Su has performed a song. It honestly sounds like she is crying during parts of it. Yava! and Night Night Burn are personal favorites of mine.

I just found you today and already have watched nearly all of this Playlist. Babymetal is my favorite band since I found out about them around 2018 or so. Could recommend "Iine" or "Onedari Daisakusen" to react to, hope you like them as well.

You're right, this really should be the song that saves the universe in Bill & Ted Face the Music, the lyrics even work for it. As for the lighting I believe that is the audience's cell phones, it's controlled by an app they would download earlier and start when prompted. I've done it at a basketball game introduction, the app handles pulsating lights based on locations or seating.

Nice reaction. It's safe to say you are now part of the ONE. This song meant a lot to Babymetal to do a song for their fans overseas. IMO in means just as much to the fans. While they were moving over the fans in the triangle. Yui said she wanted to wave to the fans as they passed by. But like true pros they kept to the choreography. They said that was the hardest part. No Fear of heights. Nerves of steel. I thought the height would have been more of the hard part. You gotta love them.

You haven't reacted to any of the Black BabyMetal songs yet. These are the songs that Yui and Moa would do while Queen Su is back stage taking a vocal rest. There were 4 songs that Yui and Moa would do when Yui was still a member of the group. Unfortunately they no longer do these songs live. The songs are Onedari Daisakusen, Song 4, GJ! and Sis. Anger.

People said they prefer the compilations to the vids from the reactor resource? *QUARANTINE THESE ALIENS RIGHT NOW!* Great song, and I love the girls in the flying pyramid. That, I believe, was from the Yokohama show in 2015. The -trash bags- cloaks that they wear for this song always look so hot and I can only imagine the deluge of sweat pouring off of them just because of those.
