This is a great song! Barbra Streisand is one of the true mega stars. She has spanned over 6 decades of music. This lady has a fabulous voice & can sing many genres of music. She is a singer, actress & filmmaker & one of the few performers to have received awards in multiple fields of entertainment (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar & Tony). Love the musicals she was in especially "Funny Girl" & "Hello Dolly". She has so many great songs that were hits & she has done numerous duets with famous people.

Barbra has perfect pitch, enunciation, vibrato, vocal range and total vocal control even when singing the quieter notes. Outstandingly talented singer and actress.

What a gift she has been to music lovers around the world.

I was privileged to first hear her when I was a child and she was on the Ed Sullivan Show, and I followed everything she did in all the years since. She does sing every note with perfection - she doesn't waste a single moment on anything less than that. She evokes so many emotions that I've experienced through in my whole life. She's a part of my DNA now I think.

Hello you will never hear a story like this again.i first heard Barbrah in NY i was 14 yrs old .it was at theater the movie called The Way We Were i was nothi g short of Mezmeri ed by her voice i went back 7 times yes 7 times to listen to her voice. I am now 65 yrs old and still get chills when i hear her

Feel in love with her back in 1977 (Evergreen) and saw her at Madison Square Garden in 1994. Thank you for all the music and movies.

I just watched her in the movie A Star is Born again for the umpteenth time and of course still cried at the end. She's always been a favorite of mine. So many of her movies I can watch over and over again like Funny Girl and Hello Dolly and so many more. Her voice is incredible!

I wish that song could have gone on longer! She's an awesome singer, director and actress. She can hold a note forever. Curious you brought up stage fright; Barbara is a perfectionist and sings perfectly, but she has suffered for years from stage fright! React to "The Way We Were" from the movie of the same name.

I think you're the right person to talk to about the importance of vocal tone in beautiful music. Everyone seems to be obsessed with range, or pitch, lyrics or some other minor or occasionally major part of what makes a voice or song beautiful while forgetting about the part that the tone of a voice plays. Take the reason, as I perceive it, the sincere (the majority of the hosts are merely performing histrionics to attract viewers) and somewhat knowageable critics on these first time hearing videos and you will find its the unusual tone of the performer that makes them (once again, the honest hosts) tear up, display a discreet smile, or go into uncontrollable ecstacy when they listen to it. Unfortunately, some of the best tones in vocal music are never heard on these videos because the don't appeal to today's obnoxious obsession with volume, some of which I rip my hearing aids out immediately to avoid further damage to my Disco, Early hip hop era ears. Dean Martin and Johnny Mathis are two of my all-time favorites. This does not mean a singer with tone never has the ability to hit ridiculously high notes with volume ala Luciano Pavorotti and Bobby Hatfield, but Al Greenes smooth and low key top tenor sounds are equally as attention-getting as Celo Green's louder high notes. Incidentally, I'm a big Celo fan when he doesn't go off the charts with his songs that no one wants to hear.
