So many great songs such as "Blowin' In The Wind", "Don't Think Twice It's Alright", "The Times They Are A-Changin'", "Mr. Tambourine Man", "Shelter From The Storm", "Lay Lady Lay" etc. The 60's group The Byrds covered a lot of his songs. In 1988 Bob Dylan joined the supergroup the "Travelling Wilburys" which included George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison & Tom Petty.

Bruh... When Bob Dylan debuted this song at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival, he was actually booed by the crowd. They couldn't yet comprehend his monumental achievement of the fusion of Folk and Rock. It was one of the most important moments in the history of modern music. Though you may not have any personal, first-hand experience with some of the things about which he is speaking, you *can* relate to it because you are a human being and are educating yourself to become more and more fully realized. Congratulations on the amazing voyage of discovery upon which you have embarked. I envy you the long strange trip yet to come.

I was 15 the summer of 1965! This was one of numerous songs put out by now-legendary artists that came out that summer that became legendary! Bob Dylan not only had this song he sang himself, but, ironically, there were so many songs released at the SAME EXACT TIME, by other artists, that he wrote, covers: IT AIN'T ME BABE, ALL I REALLY WANT TO DO, MR. TAMBERINE MAN...I could go on&on! But, this became my favorite Dylan song (the organ hooked me)! Other songs I liked better (Beatles songs of course) that summer but this song was one of them that to this day was very special for me sure! It might even be more so now! I never ever tired of it! This is probably why most of us from that generation never turned away from that music in the '60's&'70's! And probably why we still listen to it now: there was so much of it, we ONLY had a chance to SAMPLE alot of it! Back then, We zeroed in on Beatles & other British groups! Thru the decades tho, we've been listening to what we kind of "glanced" at! It's just a lifetime of music that has stood the test of time! To prove it, can u name a song that was popular when u were 8? When I was 8, there's a song called "RUNNING BEAR" that I have on my ringtone today, bc it brings memories of my brothers& sisters, laughing, just being happy as we played & ran around, while an older sister played a transistor radio. Anyway, so glad u got to listen to Dylan, the Poet Laureate of America! 🤙👏

This is from the album Highway 61 Revisited. It was released in 1965 when I was a senior in high school. One of my friends called me up and said “ You have to hear this album” so I listened to it with him. It was mind blowing, really. Bob Dylan and progressed from an acoustic folk singer to anelectric blues and rock singer

I was too poor to buy the 45 rpm, so I had to resort to "radio-chase" this song from my 9 pm. bedtime to as late as I needed to stay up to catch the song on the radio!! Good old Wolfman Jack never failed me. I usually got my 8 hours' sleep! Those were the days! The songs were fire!

I grew up with this guy in 60s

This song in part was part of the reason for the naming of the Rollig stone magazine. It was names for the saying a rolling stone gathers no moss but also in part due to this song as well along with Muddy waters 1950s song, Rolling stone. This song "Like a rolling stone" is legendary in the musical world.

This is one of my favorite songs EVER. My parents had this album (vinyl) since well before I was born and I remember singing along (every word) before I was old enough to be in school. It's only gotten better as I got older and really started feeling what the lyrics were about. And it's catchy as hell.
