Bob's music is the ultimate road trip music. His songs hit harder the older you get. He makes you reflect on your life. He definitely deserves his place in the rock and roll hall of fame and the song writer's hall of fame.

Just call him Seger, he's been on the music scene for 60 years, we'll know who you're talkin' bout ~ It was his voice I tuned in and turned onto when I was about 14 years old and I'm now 59 ~ I've been a life-long Seger fan ~ He def has a lot of soul ~ Listen to his Live Bullet album here on KZfaq, his cover of Tina Turner's Nutbush City Limits will knock your socks off, as well as the other tunes ~ He and Tina have much respect for each other, she covered his Hollywood Nights song ~ Make sure to listen to his earlier 60's stuff ~ Night Moves is from 1976 so he had been around awhile before this, but he had only a regional following around Michigan ~ Live Bullet and Night Moves albums, both released in 76 are the ones that gave him national airplay ~ You can't go wrong with Seger, enjoy the journey!!!

One of the best artists that came out of the Detroit area. He was actually from Ann Arbor, MI, but we in Detroit claimed him! lol

Turn the Page is my favorite, especially the stanza with him going into a middle American restaurant with long hair before it was acceptable. Night Moves was the concluding song in a great animated movie entitled American Pop - about four generations of music in America.
