The song is about Bobby Hatfield from the Righteous Brothers who had a drug addiction especially cocaine which he hid from the public I.e Bobby don’t you think they know and the references to drugs like Mexican mud, ice, snow etc

No, I don’t think the video is related to the song , only that the main actor had famously hid his sexuality in his real life. which I think is the theme of the song.Bobby don’t you think they know.

It may mean anything, the video isn’t an official one, other people have said it’s about drugs, but who really knows? ( apart from Morrissey)
