Sohyang fans say she speaks to our soul. She is not just awesome technically, but more than anything, she speaks to your soul and comforts and lifts up. That is why she doesn’t sign commercially or has contracts. She sings for God. She is an angel.

I have watched this performance at least 20 times and EVERY time it brings me to tears. The original BTW was Simon and Garfunkel in the late 60s and I agree. This song now belongs to So Hyang. 100%. I've heard many times a singer takes you to church. She really does take you to church. Absolutely in a league of her own. For reference I was an engineer on major concert tours for over two decades and I've never heard a vocalist as strong as she is. Oh...and I highly recommend you react to I Have Nothing. Here are some suggestions for you. STAY(begin again Korea)-Her original song. Can listen her unique low register. More like small busking concert. Everyone(immortal songs)-Korean gospel song&Sohyang put her own English lyrics and make this her own rendition. Huge epic song. Yes, there is also a very evident Gospel background but then she just steps it up to the stratosphere, and with gobsmacking skill, ease and breathtaking beauty.
