I can't say I know Spanish music, but in the flute solo parts you can hear traces of flamenco, such as guitarist Paco De Lucia.

The first time I heard this on the radio I drove straight to the record store and bought it .I wore this track out

Other songs on this CD such as 500 Miles high and As Light as Feather are also great. I have been a fan of Chick's music since the 1970s. He is a Jazz icon. Played with Miles Davis in the 1960s.

Return to forever is Stanley Clark on bass and Bill Cobham on drums.I'v seen them 4 times live.

A true classic from Chic (Armando) Corea, master musicians at work.... check out anything from the "My Spanish Heart" album and your will be amazed. in fact anything by Chic Corea is worth listening too, he was a genius. Great reaction from yourself.... you really feel the music and it shows. BTW 'Return To Forever' was the group name, this band made several albums in he early seventies and reformed later on I think?

Great piece. Good to see you’re still on a musical exploration, young man. You may want to check out some of Wayne Shorter’s music. Give his “Native Dancer” album a listen, particularly the cut “Beauty and the Beast”. I think you’ll enjoy it. Keep expanding your mind, young brother.
