Hé actually fight for Africa, and sing against racisme with "LAZIZA" or world famine with other. Hé was à intense artist. We missed him, Hé was à peace maker , Hé was ready to start politics and Hé died tragically in Dakar, Africa in à hélicoptère accident. We say as french (not all french tho) that we aren't proud of ourself but when we see those songs and beautifull things borned with french peoples help, I guess that's when we trully realize our french identity (as weird as it can be)
