Don't worry about who follows. This Singer TV Show is NOT like an Americain reality show, eg. AGT or Americain Idol.. These are already popular, professional, famous singers. They gain status with a win but it does not make or break their career. Dimash was the only "unknown" singer on the show, well known in Kazakhstan but not in China before this show. Dimash learns most of his "other language lyrics" by memorizing the sounds of the words. The downfall of this is that he can sometimes end up singing about topics that go against his values. His new Weekend song is a perfect example of this. 🥰🥰🥰🇨🇦

This technique when he makes notes "separed" very fast is called "staccato". It is a classical technique and it is not easy to master. Dimash is the king of the staccato! Hug from Brazil!

Couple of things! 1] You're right with your 'Olympian' comment. Dimash DOES approach the training and development of his 'instrument' EXACTLY like a Gold Standard Level Olympic Athlete. Not only does he have a God-given gift, but he then built upon it with great dedication and determination. It takes a great deal of effort to make the things he does 'look' effortless. He has been receiving specialised vocal training since the age of 5,(He's now 29 - so almost a 1/4 of a Century of training already... ), across not only classical voice, but every genre, and from the best teachers in the land, but he also pursues a dedicated program to support this. He does Vocal Exercises every sigle day, and Martial Arts training to build his core, including Diaphragm strength, and he Swims as much as possibe to maintain and expand his lung capacity! And all this work SHOWS! AND he's all about 'Continuous Improvement'! So, ya think anyone's going to catch up!?! 2] Dimash 'converted' his competitors into instant fans with his 1st performance of that season; SOS. They, and everyone else, KNEW who The Winner was going to be. The morning adfter that 1st episode went to air in China, The Show's producers came to Dimash and infirmed him he now would beed a Security Detail wherever he went- from that day forward. Advice he didn't really believe until he stepped out his hotel to mobs of fans and found his life had utterly changed. I wouldn’t want to follow him in a competition. 😅 But there isn’t a threat anymore for anyone because Dimash is done with participating in any competition. At least not as a competitor. In 2021 he was one of the judges of a competition he won when he was way younger.

Great pick to put together, seen the movie or not it was written tobe unable to perform especially by male. In the movie it was an alien singing the song they used a female Opera singer and computers did it in parts and spliced it together to get the song, the Opera singer could not do the whole song, computers had to fill in and it was done in segments which was all merged together. It was written to be impossible for any singer male or female to perform. Dimash nailed it. Those are different notes changing very quickly up down all around 😅. In the Confessa Diva Dance he does Confessa first part in Mandarin then changes to Italian, the Diva Dance part is really good but the first one was more precise to the movie. On languages he truly speaks 4 Kazack, Russian, English and Mandarin, he learns the other songs in their language phonetically, he sings and pronounces the words in the songs very well but isn't fluent in the other 12 plus languages he sings in. That's being honest about it. He does a great job singing songs in other languages I always hear from natives he has excellent diction and really that's not easy in itself, but to clarify totally true I wanted to give the whole picture.

He speaks Kazakh (mother tongue), Russian and now better and better English. But it's impressive how he studies his songs in other languages in order to be able to interpret them. He has so many songs in Mandarin (Chinese). The pronunciation is anything but easy. They said that he did very well.

He only speaks 3 languages and a smattering of Chinese although I suspect his Chinese is better than he lets on due to him playfully insulting his Shine Super Brothers team members in Chinese and today in China when someone arrived at the airport to collect him and spoke in Chinese, the Chinese Dears said "he doesn't understand Chinese" Dimash said laughingly in perfect Chinese "yes, I don't understand Chinese" 🤣
