This is better known as the S.O.S. song. It is usually the first song a new person is directed to. It is like Dimash's Sampler. Like the box of chocolates kids bought grandma because they could afford it and it had every different kind of candy offered by the candy maker. So someone dropped the S.O.S. part of the title.

I saw Dimash live twice last year. He is incredible. Impeccable. I don't like building the myth of perfection, because it's unhelpful, unrealistic and unfair to him, and i know he is human and not always perfect, but man, i could not pick a fault in those two nights even if i tried. And his connection to the audience is so strong..... He harmonised with us singing and honestly, there is nothing better than singing with Dimash. Except the genuine gratitude and love he has for his listeners.

This is not the first time I make this comment about Dimash's amazing singing, and this is gonna out me as a boomer, but whatever: his singing skills immediately remind me of the alien singer in the movie The 5th Element, in which her skills were literally out of this world, because she was an alien. This should not be possible for a human, and it looks like he pulls this out effortlessly. Amazing.

My first was Opera 2, as for your wife, I think. Please react to Daybreak, next - and soon - please. Actually, I was in London for Dimash. My first trip outside my country because of a concert and my first time alone on a concert. Back then I didn't know anyone who liked Dimash. It was magical. After that experience, I have been at four concerts with Dimash ❤️

She's not on Singer...I don't think she ever was anyway; however, she was on the Korean equivalent called I Am a Singer. Her name is Lena Park and I highly recommend checking her performances out. She is one of my favorites from several years ago. Beautiful voice, not Dimash levels...but still VERY talented in her own way. :) If I had to choose one performance from that show...I would say watch "If I Leave" from I Am a Singer by Lena Park. Late Edit: She also did the opening for the anime Romeo x Juliet, which is in Japanese and a version of "You Raise Me Up".

This probably was the first time a lot of us dears heard of Dimash, when this performance went viral in 2017. A day hasn’t gone by since that I haven’t listened to him. I watch. Every reactor who discover Dimash, to try to recreate that feeling again, when Dimash arrived in my life. (Christine, also from the U.K.). I ve seen him twice, live, Latvia and Dubai. 600,000 calls came in when he left the stage and crashed Hunan TV's system ! Unknowing, early the next morning he and his Dad's elevator door opened to security, police and a wall of screaming people. He said he grabbed his Dad and yelled, something terrible has happened !! Are we safe ? Hands pulled them through into a waiting car and the situation was explained as it sped off. He laughed telling the story saying he yelled STOP THIS CAR ! YOU HAVE THE WRONG GUY ! I'm a kid from Aktobe, I sang one song on a tv show ! They said, not anymore, saying his Dad just kept nodding and grinning. He stopped, looked down, then into the camera and said... I meant it. The audience and I lost it. He was so serious he was hilarious ! He looked around a second and then grinned. Dimash.

I first saw him on state tv in a video, when we lived in Kazakhstan and his name was Kudaibergen before they changed their alphabet and K became a Q and he was 16 singing with a guitar player and a drummer about girls and flirting with 2 walking by. My sister had a huge crush and my Dad called him "rock n roll boy" for years to tease us ! 😆

Revisiting this song is always a pleasure, i did easily a thousand of times, so don't worry, this version is the one that went viral, the Slavic Bazaar is better with the French pronunciation unlike this one but this version always give me goosebumps. Song title is "SOS d'un Terrien en détresse" which translates "Of an earthling in distress", not sure where that translation comes from. Another version you should watch from this show if you didn't is "Opera 2". Thanks for sharing this Luke.❤

Check out all of the Dimash in China content on Gloria Wu's channel - G Wu. She has non English Singer 2017 performances with subtitles and intros with the backstories to the songs. (Especially for Ep.4,7,+8). There are other performances like "Screaming - Idol Hits" with additional behind the scenes footage, a half hour Singer behind the scenes doc that shows him meeting Jackie Chan, and the Chinese TV drama "PhantaCity", where he played a boxer, and sang a couple of songs.

SOS is never not an emotional rollercoaster and I'm saying that as someone who listens to it at least once most days. As for more Dimash, if you haven't listened to Golden yet. That song has been hitting me hard lately. It's a completely different side of him. It's more of a rock anthem. The video is cool but if you want a live performance, he did it for his digital concert 2021. Also, random sidebar, have you done Cynthia Erivo yet? If not, I highly recommend her performance of I'm Here from The Color Purple. Judging by how much you like Lea Salonga, I think you'll like Cynthia.

You should check out Dystopia by Kingdom I know you’ve checked out Excalibur which is an amazing song. You should also check out a K-band named Lucy. They have a really cool and interesting instrument that I haven’t seen another K-band use.

Lol Luke. This was the first video you reacted to. SOS. Didnt have subtitles though. If you want other artists try Terry Lin's performance of writings on the wall or Jason Zhang's performance of Myself. As for Dimash songs..... all from Singer 2017, The Show Must Go On, All By Myself, Autumn Strong. Dimash has performed in London in 2018. So im sure he will be back.

I always LOVE your reactions! So, 1. I discovered him with Love of Broken Swans and fell in love with him instantly. My favorite song of Dimash is hands down Vocalize.He gives me goosebumps EVERY TIME. 2. Okay...you should ABSOLUTELY react to another singer on that same show that bonded with Dimash and they are great friends...Terri Lin is his name. He's very famous in China.You should definitely react to both of them singing together at Jackie Chan's Action Film Awards.
