Ah a newbie to Dimash, considered by many experts to be a once in a thousand year talent. He has trained formally since he was 5 years old and has a Bachelors in contemporary and classical music, a Masters degree in composition, and is currently a PhD graduate student in musicology. In between his studies, he makes myriad guest performances, solo concerts and stints as a judge in singing and fashion competitions around the world. Right now he is in Mumbai participating as a judge at the Shanghai Cooperative Group Film Festival judging 14 Asian films for Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director, etc. For such a young man of 28 years, his accolades, awards and massive accomplishments are already legendary. I love Barbra and think she's a fantastic singer, but since discovering Dimash about four years ago I've become one of his biggest fans (of which he has millions) and don't think there's a singer out there now, or ever, who can do what he can do when he sings. It's not just his range but the colors and textures of his voice, not to mention his stage presence. The Singer is a Chinese musical program where professionals compete for 14 weeks. Dimash, an outsider and youngest contestant at only 22, was invited as a wild card performer. The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. This is on a Chinese competition show called Singer for professional performers. It was in 2017 when he was just 22 years old. He is from Kazakhstan. While "best singer" is undoubtedly subjective it is widely agreed by professionals, amateurs, vocal coaches and teachers and lovers of all other genres of music that, from purely a vocal and vocally technical and performance view, He is quite likely the most talented singer on the planet today. He has done nothing but improve by leaps and bounds over the last almost 6 years and he is now 28 years old. Fortunately you haven't heard anything yet. It's a wonderful rabbit hole to go down. He is a multi-instrumentalist, a composer, songwriter, producer and director with his own production company called Dimashali Creative Center. He has been training since he was 5 years old and has been professionally trained in opera, contemporary and musical theater technique. He has a 7 plus octave range and has performed songs in 15 languages. He speaks his native Kazakh and Russian. Also some English and some Mandarin.

Some info about Dimash. He is born in May 24 1994. He is from Kazakhstan and has been music schooled sense 5 years old and told the teacher that the piano was out of tune! He sings about 7 octaves or so! No one knows he is still learning. He sings higher than the piano can go! He also writs and compose own songs, plays bunch of instruments including Dombra there own Kazakh instrument that has a sound you can’t believe and onley 2 strings! He also sings in about 14 (Kazakh, Turkish, Usceck, Russian, Ukranian, Serbien, Bulgarian Chinese , Italien, Spamish, French, English, German, Japanese ) languages and speaks 3 so far (Kazakh, Russian and English). Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition. He graduated with a degree in opera from the music school at the University of Aktobe (2014), a degree in pop/jazz from the National Arts University in Nur Sultan (2018), just completed his Master's degree in composition (June 2020) and have started his PhD. He have done some contests in his life but the one I think got the worlds intension is "The Singer" (Allso called "I am a singer" or "Singer") from China in 2017. The Singer is a program for established Chinese singers to face off against each other invites only in a competition where votes were cast by an audience of 500. Dimash Qudaibergen was a last-minute inclusion (a 'dark horse'). But his performance of 'SOS D'un Terrien En Detresse' electrified the audience, his fellow competitors and the viewers who numbered in the billions (this program was one of the most-watched in China and outside). They also got him the nickname "Imported little brother" the day after the show. They also had to get bodyguard for Dimash do to the famous over night both in China and also the world. Dimash wasn’t really prepared for that. He had come to China at 22 years young man by him self and didn’t know the language. They hade contracted him for 2 shows because they didn’t think he cold go further than that. He didn’t think they would like him. So he was nervous this performers that he had also to start the show with. But they hade to change that do to his famous over night.
