What’s great about Dimash is you won’t be disappointed.

It is sooo much fun watching you and the joy you feel as you get to know Dimash. It so reminiscent of my own first experiences with Dimash. What makes it so special is that not only is Dimash the best singer the planet has ever scene, he also is such a wonderful human being. Today, I saw a video of Dimash coming into the airport at Dubai for his concert on Friday. He was so warm, loving and giving. With the children he either picked them up and hugged and kissed them if they were younger or he would get down to their level and talk to them, but always with a hug. With one youngster, who had a "Dear" sign on her head, he gave them the sun glasses he was wearing. Who does this stuff??? Only Dimash!!! ... Keep on going with Dimash. You have only just begun, my friend. I've known him now for five years and I still marvel at who and what Dimash is! BTW, Dimash's father, Kanat, can be seen at 7:43 in this vid. Kanat and Dimash's mother, Sveta, are also quite wonderful human beings in their own right.

Love your reactions. S.O.S. was his first big performance. This was number 2. I saw this one on KZfaq first, and because I'd never heard him, I thought the "Best Singer in the World" claim seemed overblown and conceited, so I watched S.O.S. instead. I'm glad I did. For me, that remains perhaps his most beautiful song because of the meaningful lyrics and beautiful melody. "Opera 2" is more a novelty song, but certainly fun, and after hearing both back to back, I was willing to concede him the title of BEST. That was almost 5 years ago, and I relish watching new people discover him.

This is one of his performances at "I am a singer" in China 2017. This song is by Russian musician VITAS. I have read that after hearing it he forbade Dimash to perform it again. Possibly because she outgrew him? I also read that Vitas would have re-recorded this song matching Dimash's version.

A little context to this performance. Dimash exploded on the scene at the 2017 The Singer" Chinese professional competition as a total unknown. He was the first contestant in Round 1 and stunned everyone with SOS (which you have reacted to); he finished first in Round 1. His Round 2 song was "Opera 2" which again shocked everyone because it again showed his capability. This song really doesn't demonstrate the breadth of his vocal repertoire but understandably he wanted to keep impressing the audience; he again finished first in Round 2 (the original is sung by Vitas, but Dimash ' version is far superior to Vitas). In Round 3 he sang "The Show Must Go on" (Queen) where he finished third, etc. He ultimately finished second in the 14 round competition, when he really should have finished first. Gloria Wu's channel has background information (in addition to the performance) to selected songs from the 2017 competition that you would appreciate (eg Late Autumn/Autumn Strong, Daybreak, Daididau, etc.). He sang 7 languages during this competition (Kazakh, French, English, Russian, Mandarin, Italian and "Alien").

Opera 2 was my 1st Dimash experience. As a result it is on the top of my favorites. Now I compare all artist to him. I do have 1 other artist that is sentimental to me. Dimash just grabbed me in a way that no other artist has in all my years.

Lololol 😂.. For real, I get the chills so much still to this day my hair grows ten times faster!! He's absolutely incredible!! But you're seeing it in order of how everyone got to see him from the start of the show the Singer in China, and after he did SOS, the ratings went up over 600 million overnight and from then on, he couldn't even walk around anymore!!
