First time hearing him, I was in awe, got the goose bumps, waiting on the next notes and by the end I was worn out in a good way. Listened to his song several times. Then he inserts a surprise in every song,. When feeling down he lifts me up, and calms me down. He now is a male model in china, his family works with him in his shows. He refused to sign any contract for others to make a killing off his ideas. Hired Kutroy, out of retirement without a contract. Those are smart ways of doing you own thing. I too love this man. And of course my favorite one (Igor Krutoy, again): Know (New Wave 2019, or the vocalized versions: all are mind-blowing).

Ave Maria is an old ancient prayer . It's said that if you sing a prayer it's stronger. He did this without any lyrics so that anyone can listen to it no matter what religion you are. He's not only a great singer, but an incredible person. You absolutely need to watch his speech before war and peace in his latest concert. He has something important to say that we all need to hear. As Igor put it: "Italians like to say that any composer is worth exactly as much as his latest work is worth, meaning that all previous achievements and achievements do not count... I listened very carefully to the fairly controversial and categorical statement made by representatives of this very musical country (both in the past and in the present), and began to look at my new compositions from the Italian perspective... One evening, about three months before 'New Wave', Dimash called and asked if I could write 'Ave Maria' for him, explaining his desire to sing something in such a stylistic way... It just so happens that I had the evening off, and I was happy to sit down on the piano and, remembering the Italian liability formula, worked inspiredly until I achieved the desired result... After taking a few days to have the song ‘rest’ in my ears, soul and heart, I sent it to Dimash, who literally said within half an hour that that's exactly what he wanted to hear. And, of course, the reception and applause given to Dimash by the audience at New Wave showed how happy it was to do what you love, to write for such a singer who has a genius for music, to evoke deep emotions in the public and to be in demand… In fact, Igor had already semi-retired earlier, but he came out of semi-retirement to work with Dimash. In a Russian TV interview, Igor said his mother had told him he needs to write songs for younger singers. But he replied that there aren’t any younger singers who can sing his songs. And he’s like this in every single song he sings giving 100% of himself and that’s one of the things that makes him so remarkable. This song is just heavenly! It is pronounced “Ah-vay Maria”. Dimash will be 28 on May 24 of this year. I’ll be honest, when I first heard this Ave Maria, it spoke to me as almost an exercise or study. I don’t say this as a criticism, it is purely an appreciation of the technical beauty of this piece. You’re right, Dimash could easily stand there alone but when his voice is blended with the other elements, it becomes even more sublime. Hello from America! Dimash is turning 28 this upcoming May . He was only 22 when he competed @ The Singer in China in late 2017. This was his first exposure to bigger audience that catapulted him to stardom and he has millions of fans around the world . He had improved tremendously over the years ranging from his vocals, techniques, songwriting, composing music. He has followers ranging from 2 yes of age to late 90 years of age. His genres of music includes folk, opera, classical, rock, cross overs, rap, pop . I’ve noticed that you have listened & reacted some songs from when was 22, mid years and now his latest kind of music lately which is very good. But of course there are still hundreds of songs I recommend to listen to his lists of music both from concerts, studio performances, & music videos. I highly recommend you to watch the version with the story behind on the Gloria Wu channel and then the one from Bastau. I think you will appreciate the Bastau version even more if you’ve seen the Singer version before. As somebody mentioned in some comments, I totally agree that it is always very frustrating when reactors jump on the Bastau version and don‘t even try to activate the subtitles. I can understand that a lot of Dears prefer reactions to this version because it is just incredibly more powerful. In my opinion, however, it loses at bit of its impression, if you don’t know why he sings, the way he sings. This song tells a very sad but true story. You really have to watch this with subtitles. In the Singer version he was so sick and had a severe sore throat. He lost his voice the night before his performance of Daybreak. I heard him say in an interview that it was very painful throughout the song but he didn’t want to disappoint the people who stand behind him and so he pulled himself together and went on stage. He got 5 injections from this doctor in the hospital. You can see how concerned the other competitors were. They knew he was not doing well and one of them even gave him a very expensive Chinese medicine from his own inventory. You can see how they suffered with him. The problem was his busy schedule between the performances and he didn’t have enough time to recover. He made very good friends there. And after the performance he lost his voice again. The Bastau version (no sore throat) of Daybreak in the same year is phenomenal and mind-blowing. So emotional and heartbreaking. You can react them together. Some of the reactors did it that way. There a some female singer who performed this song, but in my opinion not as precise as Dimash. And he is a male! You can react this song with another awesome version of Diva Dance together because it is really short. There are also more little vocal-surprises in this second video. It is from the Shanghai Spring Festival Gala in China. He sings with the Chinese Opera singer who usually plays a female in classic Peking opera Li Yugang. The two harmonize so well together. It is the third song in the trilogy (along with Stranger and Ave Maria) that Dimash premiered at the New Wave concert late last year. Fly Away is about living life on your own terms. Each of these three songs are different and unique for very different reasons - absolutely genius!!
