Yes. Some people have commented also they thought Dimash had an angel inside him! I think that's a bit of a big burden to place on the shoulders of a young man - whom I'm sure has crappy days from time to time just like the rest of us! But part of his charm is that he seems to be a thoroughly decent person. Very courteous and respectful of others. I saw a clip from 3? years ago, where he was performing in Russia and a famous Russian Soprano went backstage to meet him after his performance to congratulate him. When she emerged she said to the waiting media. "You don't touch this!" "This is something pure". At the time I assumed she was referring to Dimash being very young and she wanted the growing media scrum to back off, not overwhelm him and give him space to mature in his craft. Later, after I saw several interviews Dimash did, I realized it was not just this but that he genuinely wants his music to touch - and unite - hearts all around the world. This is his stated & genuine goal that he has trained towards for so many years. He believes that we all have the same heart - no matter who we are or where we come from. That we all love the earth, our families, and want the best for our children. That we all gasp and tear up in awe at the sight of natures beauty, a magnificent piece of art or a voice that touches our souls. And he's right. it's as simple and as profound and as powerful as that. As for his growing fame worldwide. Dimash leads by example of courtesy and respect, but this should be a two -way street. We have seen him maintain his composure and courtesy even when his fans are pushing and shoving and screaming and demanding all around him. Even when he appears tired and strained and at times far thinner than seems healthy... He does genuinely appreciate his fans and will do his best to please and personally connect with as many as he can. Some might say this is simply the price of fame. I say we have seen far too many examples of young talents who burn bright early and flame out fast. Individually and collectively it is beholden on all of us Dears to make sure that price does not become a cost to high to bear.

The producers thought he might last a round or two. The 500 member audience votes after each performance and the low score is eliminated. The morning after Di's first song, S.O.S., he had 600 million views on the Chinese Social platform Weibo and he needed bony guards! The rest is history! He composed this song 25 years ago for Alla Pugacheva, a very famous female Russian singer, and modified it for Dimash to sing. After watching Dimash's performance of SOS in 2018 he decided to come out of retirement and compose masterpieces for Dimash to sing, such as I miss you, Ogni Pietra, Your Love, just to name a few. It must be very satisfying for him to sit down and compose music without constraints (limitations by ordinary singers). High notes, low notes, whatever his genius mind can conceive, Dimash will achieve. Someone explained on another person's page the different elements of the song. There are three sections: In the first and longest, Dimash is addressing the audience, describing his dream-like love. In the middle section, Dimash lives the dream. Notice he disengages from the audience; his eyes are closed, then he opens them and looks up. The audience has ceased to exist for him. In the final section, he wakes, notices the audience again, then tells them how the dream made him feel. Which is energized!

As I see him, Dimash looks like he loves to experiment so he is mixing generes - he can do it thanx to his great voice trainig in classical, pop, rock and eastern folk singing. He works with tons of great musicians and actors. He is a guy from three worlds. He was born in Qazakhstan in a conservative and traditional family and studied there music from his childhood with the best teachers and became well known child artist. He has started to be really famous in China after The Singer show in which he was one of the contestants. He has millions of absolutely devoted fans there in China. They call themselves "Dears" (it is the name Dimash gave them) and are kind of a cult. They (together with the world wide Dears gang) hacked an MTV public voting channel for few weeks while ago. It was fun. Russians and specialy the composer Igor Krutoy have recognised Dimash too and he is now the constant part of the music scene there and KZfaq made its job well and the Western world has started to slowly recognize Dimash too. He had participated in the World's Best contest in USA and had some concerts there. So he catches hearts of people literally all around the world and from all cultures and religions (he is from Muslim family). And it looks like his family protects him successfully from harm of the fame, so he is very kind and humble hardworking artist. And we will see where he will go. Just now he is doing some contemporary pop with MJ's vibes, not as spectacular as this song, but he has some pretty good music videos worth to see. He is like an alien in the music business now.
