I first heard Dimash singing SOS at Slavic Bazaar. I was floating in clouds, his voice and emotion went through me and around me. Time didn't exist while I listened and I kept playing his songs into the wee hours. He is addictive. I only play his music now in the evening because I can't play just one song and leave it at that. My heart is filled with wonder when I hear him sing and sometimes I have tears rolling down my cheeks from him I know because I can't understand a word he sings. His music can be playful as in Opera 2 or he takes you away to another realm in Sinful Passion. An amazing song writer Igor has written songs for his voice and they're nothing short of epic. Those two are a match made in heaven. I saw a video of Dimash singing with his mum and dad. Oh my goodness. They're all incredible and gorgeous. Try Stranger next from New wave 2021. I heard Dimash sing S O S on Chinese I Am Singer show 2017 and have watched him for a couple of hours every day since. I’ve flown to two different countries to see his three hour concerts. I’m 78 U.K. lady. He does list of styles from opera to rap. Plays various instruments and interacts with the audience. He comes down off the stage at the end so he can get as close as possible to his fans whom he calls ‘dears’ as we are precious to him. I love watching the first reactions to Dimash. There is no other voice like his. I started by watching his performances on the tv show "The Singer 2017". He was 22 yrs. old at the time. It was a talent show for professional Chinese musicians who were already established in their careers, and Dimash was invited as a "dark Horse", the first foreigner, non-professional, and the youngest person to ever compete. He captured the world's attention after his first performance which was S.O.S. By watching his performances on that show gave me a chance to see the progression of his talent. AMAZING!!! Kia ora. Yeah, Dimash does that to people :) There are other versions of SOS - no one would hate you for doing these two back to back as they are all slightly different. I really like the Slavic Bazaar rendition coz his French is better and perhaps vocally a bit crisper than other versions, but the Chinese Singer show was a much warmer atmosphere and the chemistry between Dimash and the audience is obvious. The thing to remember with Dimash is that he has no 'genre' other than music. He literally can do it all - and does. The other thing we learn with Dimash is that it doesn't matter if you understand the lyrics or not (but I suggest subtitles on as they are often extremely poetic) because Dimash communicates the essence of the song direct to the heart through his perfected human instrument. What many have come to understand about Dimash is that actually his voice and range aren't the most amazing thing, rather it is the goodness of his heart that lives vibrantly and strong through his singing that is the X factor. The same could be said for Diana Ankudinova - her name will keep coming up too as she and Dimash share the same fan base to a large extent. Enjoy the ride! He is the gift that keeps on giving.

I'm guaranteeing you will be surprised with every new song as he never sticks to a particular genre and you will hear him go from Opera to Rap with complete ease across the board. I would actually recommend Durduraz from the Almaty concert as you get to hear him sing something more rock based but in his native language and have a chance to see what a Dimash concert is actually like! Oh btw Dimash is just him. The band playing behind with him are his faithful team and you will see the same musicians again and again.

I found Dimash and did a three day binge watch. I know music. I took piano lessons from 4 through my college years. I love classical, jazz, modern, Orthodox chant... I love all music. I still play at 68. Dimash is simply unique. He put the work in, and it shows.

Dimash Qudaibergenov is the best male singer in the world now n he has a 6+ octave n operatic back ground with a PhD in music n that's makes him the voice of an angel 👍 Diana Ankudinova is the best female singer in the world now too she has a very rare contralto n polyphonic/harmonical overtones voices that's makes Diana one n only voice of mother nature 👍

I felt it too the first time when I heard him..and became a fan immediately - 1st time in my life! My 2nd performance of him was "The Love of Tired Swans" (Moscow 2018. ) Dunno what to recommend you to react to next, you can't be wrong with any of his songs. He is extremely versatile, can sing in many genres & styles. After hearing 20 songs you still wouldn't know what to expect next. He can surprise us every time! He mixes pop music with classical, adding folk, rock, sometimes rap elements...He's graduated as classical singer and university trained in pop jazz vocal too - using several different vocal technics & styles in his songs, RnB or jazzy riffs and runs, middle-eastern melismas etc... He has a master degree in composition, now working on his phd in musicology. He's also a multiinstrentalist. Try Stranger, Sinful Passion, El Amor En Ti, The Story of One Sky, Be With Me, Screaming, Give Me Your Love, Lay Down, Autumn Strong, Golden, Across Endless Dimensions, Know, Ikanaide, Kieli Meken....anything really...

What amazes me about him is every note has a purpose. The inflection, breathy or powerful, aching or full of joy, the emotion is conveyed with pure expertise and precision.

This song became his signiture song, after it catapulted him into fame in the Chinese reallty show The Singer. All 12 songs performed had to be coversongs. SOS is a french song that is surrounded by tragedy involving the death of three very young men, one of them Dimashes close friend. You can feel his pain when he sings this. I actually saw one live performance where he almost lost it. It was painful to watch. SOS was part of the rock opera Starmania wich dealt with depression and suicide. I have followed Dimash since 2017 and have never been impressed like this by any other artist. I look forward to more of your ractions.Peace from California.

I think you should react to Dimash songs composed by Igor Krutoy, a russian composer who came out of retirement when he first heard him in a singer competition in China and decided that there where very few songs that could showcase the range, control and stiles Dimash could easily master.
