When you consider this was done as a favour to Eddie for appearing in Michael’s Remember the Time short film, you realise the gaping chasm in the production values🤣 That being said, I’ve always adored this song and video. If we didn’t know it was Eddie I think people would take it more seriously, but it does have tinges of Somebody’s Watching Me - a decent song that would otherwise be forgotten if it didn’t have Michael’s magic sprinkled over it. And Michael is obviously the stand out part of it! That vocal run he does when he sings ‘Always in the seeeeeas’ blows my mind every time❤️❤️ And he is so achingly beautiful in this video that I forgive all cheesiness because I get to gaze upon that beauty❤️❤️❤️❤️

I'm gonna listen again to hear Mike do that ‘Always in the seeeeeas’ vocal run again. I do remember a nice run, maybe that's what I heard! I agree that Michael's vox took 'Somebody's Watching Me' to the stratosphere!

This was a favor MJ did for Eddie lol The video is so Free! I wouldn’t say cheesy but this isn’t MJ’s video it’s Eddie’s so that isn’t on MJ I actually find it kinda dope you don’t see Music Videos like this anymore frfr just so care free especially with MJ & Eddie’s chemistry it’s perfect doesn’t feel forceful at all Long Live The King Of Music Forever!
