Every time l hear this, l think about the time he saw a bald guy in the audience and substituted some lyrics, singing "do you gaze at your bald head and wish you had hair". He cracked himself up and laughed through the rest of the song! You can find it online, it's hysterical.

This was the first Elvis song I ever heard (early 80's in my teens). I was hooked forever. I strongly recommend Elvis singing "Mary In The Morning", it's a brilliant ballad from the Vegas years, and was on the album "That's The Way It Is". Thanks Michael. 🖖

He could sing any style and type music he had a 3 octave range. You should hear him do gospel and opera. This is the tame version, you should see him do this in the 68 special it's a hoot. Not so serious. His voice got even deeper than this. Thanks for giving Elvis a spin. Be Blessed.

@@tjdomerny4847Always on an Elvis reaction..always from a man.. I wonder why..😂 You never see anyone comment this about Sinatra, or Tom Jones, Perry Como, Dean Martin, Roy Hamilton, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Dionne Warwick, Dusty Springfield, Diana Ross, Karen Carpenter.. Elton John doesn't write the lyrics to his songs.. Even the artists that did write some songs of their own sang mostly other people's songs. Bing Crosby, Aretha Franklin, Brenda Lee, Janis Joplin, Jackie Wilson, Nat King Cole.. How many opera singers wrote their operas? How many actors wrote the movie scripts?
@tjdomerny48474 ай бұрын
@@monasrum4321 The answer to that is simple: I am an Elvis fan. He was the greatest singer of the 20th century, not those other guys. If you go back and read my comment, you might just see that I NEVER criticized Elvis. I commented on the reactor's erroneous statement that "Elvis had a way with words". Singing them? YES. Writing them? No.
