In my opinion he was the “most Handsome” man, to EVER have walked this earth. If I could go back in time it wouldn’t be to “stalk” him 😂 no , but if I could choose! I’d choose to go back in time and sit on the set of the 68” comeback special! 😂❤😅 I could maybe lick his pant leg if he got close enough LMABO

Grew up with listening to Elvis. I was 15 when he passed away. My first album was Burning Love. An aunt of mine had a picture of herself as a teenager in the 50's sitting at the gates of his home. When my mom passed away - she had Elvis cassettes of his country and gospel music. I debated watching the movie but went to see it. Austin Butler did a great job. The end was the hardest. I left in tears. Definitely worth the watch.

Love your reaction. Elvis knew his appearance was not what it was earlier in his career. He didn't want it filmed but his manager got the last word. It was all about money. Yes, to those true fans it was hard to watch this performance. I cried through the whole concert because when it aired on TV, he had already died.

That bastard Colonel Parker kept pushing him and I don’t know what happened to Parker after Elvis‘s death but he will be paying in hell. Most people know what it’s like to be self-conscious about your weight and Elvis was after this weight gain, plus in very very bad health, not just from weight gain but heredity issues (his mom died at 48) But because he had to pay the bills for everybody, he went out there and did this even, though he was so self-conscious about his weight. The voice is the voice is the voice and those couple little clips of him looking at his friends smiling just melts your heart and he also didn’t miss a note on that song. it’s beautiful. RIP to Elvis & your grandmother and thank you for putting this up.

I’m a huge Elvis Presley fan because of my (Late RIP) Mother. I remember watching his concerts on TV with her as a child. Omg Old concerts of him of course 😅 and I remember I’d look over at her, and she’d be sobbing 🙄 (my mother) I never understand why in the world she’d be crying over this man?!! LMABO Now that I’m a FULL fledged ELVIS PRESLEY FAN! I completely understand my mother’s obsession with The King 👑 of Rock N Roll! I also just wanted to say sorry about your friend, I recently lost a very close friend of 25 years. I am still devastated it was June 28th of this year. It was a Great movie so if he recommended it?! Then?? But I saw it…. And it was a pretty good! Even if you know little about the King! 😉😘

The most handsome man this world will ever see, and the man he was at the end, its heartbreaking, I have a job watching this, as most of us do. He was a beautiful man inside and out. React to Elvis anything will do, in the 68 Comeback Special and Live 70 Vegas, and you'll see the man he was. This was only 9 and 7 years later. As far as this song is concerned, he sits at the piano, he really wants to do this song well, he starts and like me many of you are waiting for him to falter bc we know he is not well, he is overweight and tired of touring and he STILL belts it out so flawlessly and hits the notes beautifully and he knows it as he looks at his mic guy and smiles basically saying "I GOT THIS".

One thing to remember this was at the end of his concert, which he put his all into it. So much emotion watching this, as I am a huge Elvis fan. Absolutely amazed by his performance, yet saddened to know how sick he was here, and yet it didn’t stop him from an incredible show. No one will EVER come close to the reach (genres) he had and the success he had. So many people made fun of Elvis his last year, maybe year and a half due to weight gain. Elvis’ Dad spoke of his weight and said he really hadn’t put that much weight on, as he was in a size 36 pants when he died. Obviously he had gained weight, but nothing like so many say or believes. His face was very puffy, as in this performance, but you have to understand his organs were failing, and he had an extreme amount of water weight due to his body (kidneys, liver, heart, etc) not functioning properly. Elvis believed, this coming from his best friends and family, that because the pills were prescribed by a doctor that they were ok. They did not know of the extreme dangers, as we do now, back in the sixties and seventies. Elvis was also very depressed the last few years of his life, again through interviews with his friends and family. Some of this is pointed out in the new Elvis movie, which surprisingly I enjoyed. My grandchildren wanted to see it, and of course gramma had to go. Although I was apprehensive because of all I know of Elvis, and i was worried they wouldn’t do him justice. But they actually came from a different angle to the story, which any real Elvis fan knew, Col Parker allowed his greed and evil to over take him and he literally sucked the life right out of Elvis. Now I will say they did not show truly how generous Elvis was with his money. Yes he spent a lot, but he gave at-least half of his wealth to others; buying cars, houses, medical equipment, paying medical bills, charities, anytime he heard of someone in need especially around Memphis. Did you know he donated a huge amount to the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor And also performed a concert where all the proceeds went to it. In 1961 that concert raised over $54,000. That was a huge amount of money back then. Then he donated personally on top of doing the concert. Two things in reference to Elvis being called the “King”. To one woman he responded when called the king, no there’s only one king and that’s Jesus Christ. As Elvis was a very religious/spiritual person and actually loved singing gospel music more than anything else. One other time that I know of, he was called the king of rock and roll, and he replied that he was not, that BB King was the king of rock and roll. I suggest you watch his concerts and interviews from family and friends, there’s plenty of actual Elvis footage just on you tube. If you do I promise you, you will understand why your gramma was a huge fan and you too will be in awe of Elvis. Elvis was not only a great singer anointed by God, a great performer, he was an incredible human being with a huge heart. My Dad was a WWII and Korean Veteran, who did not really get into being a “fan” per say of too many people. He liked music, but was never per say a fan, maybe because he grew up in the Great Depression. However, he was a big fan of Elvis. My Dad had much respect for Elvis and liked his country and gospel music. He even grew to like his rock music as time went on. Check out Elvis singing the American Trilogy live, Gosh so many; Suspicious Minds, In The Ghetto, How Great Thou Art, Polk Salad Annie, The Wonder of You, Always on My Mind, My Way, You Gave Me a Mountain, Trouble, Can’t Help Falling in Love With You. I would suggest watching these live. As Elvis’ is an over all package and his charisma, light, energy, personality, good looks, and his singing combined together is truly and incredible package few can come close too. And he only comes second to the Beatles in record sales. And that may be because he never toured in other countries, only the USA , or maybe because he took 2 years off when he was drafted into the Army. Not to mention Elvis was inducted into the: ROCK, COUNTRY, GOSPEL, R & B, CHRISTIAN, POP, ROCKABILLY, AND HONKY TONK HALL OF FAMES! Let’s see any other artist accomplish this. However he was not in the Songwriters Hall of Fame because he didn’t write songs. He was actually entered into 23 Hall Of Fames. I just listed the genres in music hall of fames he was in.

His voice and his Mastery of it just got better right up until he died. If you really want to be blown away again, check out his cover of how great thou art from this same show in 1977. He also does a version in the early 70s which is great but this one as a musician, to me is so incredible. Luciano Pavarotti once said that if Elvis had had any formal vocal training, he may well have been the greatest opera singer of the 20th century. You saw that on display and this one that you reacted to and you will definitely see it on display if you watch that other number from this show.

When I saw this one from Ann Arbor, MI, I cried like a baby. I have this one on DVD and it was in the Elvis Movie. I was 18 months old when he passed away. I've never heard anyone else ever sing like he did. August 16, 1977 was when he passed. He was an American Treasure!

Elvis is the greatest entertainer that ever lived. He past away 6 weeks after this concert. I’m 69 and have followed him all my life thanks too my older sisters. He was so I’ll but his manger would never let Elvis rest all he cared about was money 💰 I can’t stand his manger he took half of everything Elvis ever made . I’ve seen the movie 4 times and I’m going again next week Austin Butler who plays Elvis is unbelievable he’s just brilliant you must go see it Cliff it’s just epic. I’ve cried every time and I know I’ll cry again next week. Please go see it .Great Reaction Love from Denise in Yorkshire England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿👑👑👑👑🕺🏻🕺🏻🎸🎸🎸🎸👏👏👏😘

I cant stand Pricilla who rewrites history. She is NOT the widow & Elvis did not want her to use the Presley name! Listen to the MM speak about her twists of truth. She also shoved Lisa into Scienceology so she could have a career.

Elvis has reached across the generations, time space and even death can never break the love people had for him and still do. The most talented person who ever walked this earth and so generous kind and caring always

Elvis had to fake his death to be put into a govt Witness Protection Program for his safety. He received a new identity and continued to sing using various alias names. Check out Pastor Bob Joyce in Benton Arkansas videos here on YT There's also videos showing Pastor Bob Joyce at Graceland. There's more proof Elvis is alive than there is that he's in a grave with his name spelled wrong. Also , check out the song "Check the Spelling on the Stone" by a mystery singer that sounds exactly like Elvis. The info's there you just need to search for it.

Elvis once flew in a plane that nearly crashed hence his aversion to flying. But he then bought his own plane called The Lisa Marie to travel all over on his tours. Your Grandmother was a woman of great taste. Elvis love performing and loved his fans and would never let them down and so 46 years after his death, his fans, and more young people are still loyal to him and his phenomenal music. 👌💕🕺

This isn't the best first time seeing Elvis live, as he was in a lot of pain and so sick here. He never lost his voice or sense of humor tho. Try reacting to 68 Comeback Special in black leather sitting down jamming out Heartbreak Hotel, Trying to Get to You and in white suit If I Can Dream. Thanks Sorry for your loss. 🙏

Found you through "Recommends" I grew up on Elvis I am 55 Was 10 When He Died / LITERALLY THE WORLD MOURNED / STOPPED!! / IN SHOCK / My Whole Family Cried Especially MY DAD!!! Who Played Elvis Music & Sang & Played His 63 Fender Stratocaster To Elvis Music.. He Passed Last Year age 73 To Covid! I now have all of Dad's Album's / Records / Guitars... My Dad STILL HAD ELVIS SIDEBURNS!!! LOL Elvis's Music IS SO SOOTHING For Me Especially after Losing Him / SO MANY MEMORIES... I AM SO SORRY ABOUT YOUR GRANDMA AND YOUR LOSS OF A FRIEND .. ELVIS TOUCHED THE WORLD AND STILL DOES!!!! #TCB - THE KING OF ROCK N ROCK FOREVER REMEMBERED AND LOVED -- THIS SONG HIS HARD TO WATCH WITH ELVIS I CRY EVERYTIME...!!! THE MOVIE IS SPECTACULAR IN EVERY WAY -- THE TRUTH FINALLY REVEALED!!!!! I HOPE YOUR ABLE TO WATCH IT..!! AS LISA MARIE PRESLEY SAID / ELVI'S ONLY CHILD She has not smiled IN 2 YEARS LOSING HER SON AT AGE 27 - HAS NOT BEEN PUBLIC DUE TO HER MOURNING - BUT WATCHED THE MOVIE AND SAID ON HER INSTAGRAM -- THIS IS WHY I DECIDED TO GO AND GOING BACK IN A DAY OR 2 lisampresley Verified Hello everyone, I haven’t posted in quite some time because there really isn’t much to say, as I am and will forever be mourning the loss of my son. Navigating through this hideous grief that absolutely destroyed and shattered my heart and my soul into almost nothing has swallowed me whole. Not much else aside from my other 3 children gets my time and attention anymore. However, that being said, I do want to take a moment to let you know that I have seen Baz Luhrmann's movie “Elvis” twice now, and let me tell you that it is nothing short of spectacular. Absolutely exquisite. Austin Butler channeled and embodied my father’s heart and soul beautifully. In my humble opinion, his performance is unprecedented and FINALLY done accurately and respectfully. (If he doesn’t get an Oscar for this, I will eat my own foot, haha.) You can feel and witness Baz’s pure love, care, and respect for my father throughout this beautiful film, and it is finally something that myself and my children and their children can be proud of forever. What moved me to tears as well was watching Riley and Harper, and Finley afterwards, all 3 visibly overwhelmed in the best way possible way, and so filled with pride about their grandfather and his legacy in a way that I have not previously experienced. It breaks my heart that my son isn’t here to see it. He would have absolutely loved it as well. I can’t tell you enough how much I love this film and I hope you love it too. Everyone involved poured their hearts and souls into it, which is evidenced in their performances. Baz, your utter genius combined with your love and respect for my father and this project is just so beautiful and so inspiring. I know I'm being repetitive, but I don’t care, Thank you for setting the record straight in such a deeply profound and artistic way. Love you ~LMP

He was so unwell at this point yet he could still hit those high notes. Watch him sing Bridge Over Troubled Water live in 1970 (best version, looks and sounds fantastic). The 'Elvis' film is superb.
